You are a true craftsman sir ! If it wasn't for you living in the US and I in Belgium I would sen some watches to you for repair. Unfortunately customs and import regulation would make that a very expensive operation.

I have one of these watches that a friend gave to me. I've since replaced the battery, crystal, and crystal gasket. This was back in summer and I just noticed that it's dead today about maybe 7 months later. I might be giving it a service soon myself. I've been using your video on servicing a Seiko 4006-7000 Bellmatic as I'm going through 3 of them at the same time.

Lovely watch and lovely job! Just can't believe anyone wore a standard Seiko rubber strap that long. I find them the most stubborn and uncomfortable straps in the world. Especially with the super sharp metal keepers. At least this one didn't have that.

It is! GREAT eye, yes. These were designed off of the 6xxx base main plate. Anything a 6xxx series will fit into case-wise, these will fit too. They can exchange back and forth. I'll answer this today on Mail Call, thank you.

Yes the new model 7c46 have 7 jewels .

The current version 7C46 is different to the older 7549. Spencer did a mega series of vids about a year ago comparing the two. Search 7549 vs 7C46.

very nice! my ( i believe if i rememeber correctly ) 2015 "SRP653K1 " baby tuna ceramic shroud didn't last that long it had a shock ( dropped from my size or something, like 1. 70 meter and is broken but i bought a solar baby tuna ( SNE577P1 which really look like the orginal Tuna Can you have on hands !! love your videos man keep up the good work 🙂🤙 🐟🥫🌊⌚

I'm guessing the battery costs about £2 but the replacement gaskets and the labor costs about £200 +.I have the 200m solar tuna such a lovely watch that cost £380 about 5 years ago brand new.
