As a retired tractor traiiler driver do you do a proper Pretrip and Postrip inspection on your vehicles and equipment?
@jeremyd98262 ай бұрын
Came here to ask the same thing. Check the oil and tires every morning at the least. takes no time at all and could really save you from huge issues.

As a heavy mechanic I judge everyone... I always do pre and post but more so middle. If I find something post I say oh easy 2 mins okay fix it now or wait till I wake up unless I know I need it right away or can wait a day. But drives me nuts... And then I live in Detroit and I see all these ppl driving around with bad lights and I can't even go a half mile with out getting 2 tickets for a cracked windshield...

Like you I'm a retired Truck Driver, regional work VA to ME. A VCR (Vehicle Condition Report) was filled out everyday. Start of log and at the end. Whenever I got out of the cab I always made a visual inspection of the cab and trailer. That tire went bad a long time ago. I just shake my head watching young people sometimes.

You guys should level that wall of leaves a bit when blowing into wood lines. I always push them several feet into the woods and level them to the ground so it looks like natural debris on the ground. A giant leaf wall down the property line in the back isn’t ideal

Those tyres didn’t get like that in one day ,you need to do pre checks not just starting the vehicle to warm it up Herein the Uk if you were stopped by the police you would have no licence after one stop ,3 points per illegal tyre =12 points in Uk no licence. You need to be more professional with the amount of vehicles you have.
