I did 2 driveways very similar! Subcompact tractor and box blade. Both customers asked how much material that I brought in to make it so smooth. They were both shocked when I said zero! It's all there, you just need to work the ground and bring the good stuff back up. Nice work

I have the DR, it does help with some concrete blocks (70 lbs. max). The tine’s can bend with too much weight! A geotechnical engineer suggested to me when you have pot-holes to square the edges and put a flat square landscaping block in the bottom with the stone on top because there’s a soft spot.

I have a DR grader and they really do a good job of filling potholes. After I am done with the grader (I pull it around with my Polaris Ranger} I have an 8' tall x 10'L piece of chainlink fence that I pull around to put the finishing touch on the driveway. It smooths it out so much more. I do have to clean up the excess gravel that I pull out onto the roadway but just a push broom and a couple of minutes and I have a very nice job. I also use it in my round pen for my horses and it works great in the sand I just don't lower it all the way down. Just sayin! J.R.

I like your video and the work you put into it. I have a gravel driveway also, but, my dilemma is the steep incline or decline I have to contend with. I looked at your setup, would like to do on my d/w. So far the Kubota 2380 and a box and scrape blade are my only solutions for the smoothness, but the scoop bucket on the front is my best for the drainage ditches/tiling. If only my drive was flat!!!! My question is: what does it look like after a month? Given what the customer could probably put in it, it was a great job. I wanted to see how the Ventrac worked, Did that one have the diesel? Generally, these driveways require ripping and mixing and then graded and rolled otherwise the material put in the holes just pops out again. A lot of the material was probably on the edges and you did a good job grabbing it and crowning it in the middle.

I think they are meant to add weight as needed, like cement blocks. Go slow too bc sometimes going fast and cause a ripple effect like small water waves
