My decision to always wear a full face mask when trimming/brushcutting was validated 30 years ago. I was cutting out a huge ancient blackberry infestation (15 ft tall) with brushcutter and metal bar blade (running vertically) and disturbed a rabbit that decided to flee straight through through the cutter blade and vaporise itself. Pink mist and shredded flesh all over me. At least it was fresh and didn't stink.

I finely got around to mowing my lawn today. First cut of the season. I am in Dayton so I been dealing with the same kind of weather you are having up in Canton. I like to let me grass dry up some but i dont get a break from the rain. I picked today since it is suppose to rain on Thursday. Yes my mower was leaving big trie marks and some places it left deeper marks. My lawn was like 6" tall, my mower highest is 4" and I cut it at that and then do a second cut at around 3 or 3 1/4" Looks better but it was thick and wet so of course it left some clumps and I have a mucher and blades on my. I put about 3 hours on my mower today.

April showers are kicking my rear end. I’ve mowed a few properties where you see the water and mud squish out the side of the tires when you run over it. I would prefer not to mow in those conditions but when it’s already 10” tall, what can you do. Keep grinding Spencer’s. Love the videos.

You will have to use a transparent polycarbonate face shield, not only because of the rabbit but also because of the splashes from the grass, the use of face masks would also be convenient, their physical integrity is part of their job.
