Try a large tarp to pile the stuff on, then drag to the trailer. Works well.

By the amount of water sitting there, I think besides allowing more sunlight in, it also needs a drainage system installed along the whole length of the grassed area.

I just recently picked up a Wolf-Garten garden fork( model LU-GM). It's like a mini pitch fork. It is the most used and versatile garden tool I have ever owned. It digs weeds, loosens gravel and soil, dig up crops like taters and carrots, it is very useful for transplanting small peranials and decorative grasses. It rakes, it grades, it loosens mulch and so on. Oh and it's super for moving prickly branches and piles of debris. Small size, big uses. Oh and when using the hand edger, don't stab like shovel, rock it side to side so it's more of a rolling cut.

Hey Shawn, I use to be in the tree business. Your doing well trimming those bushes one little tip I can give you is when cutting a descent size limb if you don't want it to rip, or tear the easiest way to do that is make a under cut about 1/4 of the way threw the limb then come on top and just make your regular it should break off clean.

You might find that a wheelbarrow with two wheels on the front stabilises the load and spreads the weight over two wide wheels rather than one, which is especially good if conditions underfoot are wet or snowy when you cannot use your Multiforce barrows.

Have you tried a battery reciprocating saw with pruning blades to trim bushes/tree branches? It helped me dramatically specially having a bad shoulder.

Hi guys. Just a suggestion. Take an aggressive sander and round top 1 1/2" if 2x4s on front of trailer. Might help with NOT tearing netting.

It is normal for woody stems to hollow out. This reduces weight and the chance of wind damage. A tube is 90% as strong as a bar. As long as the cambium is healthy, so is the plant. Also, cut from the underside up. That prevents bark tear which does serious harm.

Out here in Arizona, desert plants are used due to their low to no water needs. It cracks me up to watch as the homeowners and municipal landscape crews attack them with chain saws and giant clippers to transform their natural beauty and size into rows of little pitiful gum drops. This also eliminates their beautiful seasonal flowering. What a pity.

Yes they are hardy but what you should also tell people is, that when you prune/cut back Euonymus Alatus is that not only thinning out but that branches/stems should be cut on an angle & that you can structurally make them grow back correctly. Good work on them but also should have constant pruning, not that drastic every year but kept up so they don't get like that again. We always got things HOT LINED, they come & do it for free & that way no way to have cut electric lines or plumbing of any kind.

You should do your pruning in January and February. It's better for the plant's. When you prune while the plant's are in the dormant state.. if you want to you can get a rope and wrap it around the limbs to drag them to your trailer.

People don't understand how resilient burning bushes are a few years ago there was a huge rush of people in our area that wanted to have them pulled and replaced because we got snow in late April. Much of the branches died the customers that took on my advice to cut the dead out and leave them now how large gorgeous burning bushes. Those that didn't have small ones. And paid a lot more for them.

I like that you avoided all tearing of the leaders by suspending them. That’s good work. I will say that just because the heartwood is rotten doesn’t mean the leader is dead, looked like that one branch was still alive. Doesn’t really matter though because it’s a burning bush lol

Northern Kentucky is just as wet. Ground is completely saturated. Today was a bad day…. got my 52” Ferris Z3X stuck in about 6” of mud. Mowing along and all of a sudden she just sank in a bunch of mole tunnels. Took 1 1/2 hrs to get it out. My other mower would even pull it out - just spun the tires. Had to run about 150 ft of tow straps from back yard to the drive way and pull it out with my truck (had to disconnect trailer first). Man I was frustrated!!!
