I am a pre professional ballet dancer and my holy grail for daily post training recovery is just eating lots and lots of protein and dark chocolate 😂

The biggest difference for me is reading my scriptures and doing meditation. Even with epsom salts and massage, I find if my mind is not in the right space nothing helps 😂 Thanks so much for your videos 🙏

I only do a couple classes a week but i also found that getting carbs in straight after class helps so much with muscle recovery. Then i get in the car, and then a protein shake at home. I'm almost never sore anymore.

Thanks to your vlogs, I now understand the vital importance of injury prevention, and how to do it! I had sort of assumed injuries were random, and that the individual could not do anything to prevent one from happening but now I know better! 9:30 This dress 😍 9:52 This leotard 😍 especially the floral detail of the neckline, but the whole look is stunning! When you practice, do you have the music playing? About the performances, is there a point where you're not nervous anymore because you're too tired or going on autopilot? When you said it wasn't the best, and your friend agreed - I hadn't thought about this before, but in team sports, there are some matches where things just don't click. Is it the same for ballet (eg. Everybody is a little bit off) or is it just the corps that would be affected? 😊 Thanks again for the video! I hope you and your friends and family have a lovely Christmas! 🙏😊⛄️🦌🎶🩰🎄🎁✨

As always I love hearing your insights and the things you get out of watching the video. It makes me realise that things I find such a normal part of life and recovery can be quite intriguing and interesting. When I practice occasionally I have music but most of the time I film myself in order to review my technique and artistry. Certainly near the end of the run I have a lot less nerves (sometimes none), but I always like to be a little nervous as it gives me good energy for my performance. I actually feel a little uneasy if I am completely calm before performing. there are certainly shows when everything does just feel slightly off. Sometimes it is obvious and other times you can't put your finger on what it is. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas too! Happy Holidays!

@@HannahMartinRG I am very grateful to you for liking my comments! Your career and lifestyle are very unusual and very fascinating to the vast majority of the public. We all want to know what celebs do behind the scenes! Probably most of your subscribers are familiar with ballet or dance or gymnastics so they find your vlogs to be relatable and aspirational. Most people I know don’t know anybody in the performing arts and ballet is even more specialized and unusual than a professional musician in an orchestra for example. As you mentioned in your video, showing us the clothing from Halara (so cute!), ballet dancers are athletes. Most people I know also don’t know any professional athletes. I think ballet is more intense than almost all sports. The requirements of doing a 90 minute class every day because the body needs it because ballet consists of so much movement that is contrary to natural movement is honestly mind blowing, I already thought it was extreme when I found out that elite artistic gymnasts are not allowed to take vacations! usually all I do in show season is my usual wash and moisturise in the morning. nothing out of the ordinary. I usually get some breakouts at the beginning of the run and then my skin adjusts after a couple of weeks x

When you do double-show days, what time is curtain for each one? One has to be a matinee or something.

Here the word "surviving" is used in a context of wanting to perform your best possible while juggling university, health/personal matters, etc. Only another performer or empath could understand her situation 🫶🏾 Being a christian, perfectionist and responsible individual+putting your heart into everything you do can be really taxing.
