Phil moans because he has pain. I'm not Einstein, but if it weren't for the sweater(s) that Emily & Shane have for Phil, he looks frightful. I have seen worse, though, I'm glad that Phil is still alive & kickin' butt! He's my favorite of all of them, maybe because of his heart shaped face. Phil is just so doggone adorable!! My kids were spoiled beyond crazy for Christmas....half the stuff sold in garage sale or given to charity never opened.
