I cannot believe that they would allow nurseries to be open. Babies and/or toddlers are most vulnerable. And how can little Mia isolate by herself, and her parents can go to work. Something’s wrong with that. Strange COVID-19 rules around the world. I’m glad you guys are asymptomatic and doing ok. Nice to know that your jobs were understanding.

Given what Emma was talking about, whats your personal option on them keeping nurseries open? I've got 2 nephews 8 and 10 who are now at home and I won't get to see them until things improve.
@alexhendry21203 жыл бұрын
@@MrOrcshaman I'm so sorry you won't be able to see your nephews, that must be really hard. I understand the logic of having nurseries open purely from the fact that a lot of people who work from home or just work can't give their children the attention they need. I'm sure there are cases where families have no other options and having the nursery available gives them the support they need. If you are able to have your child at home with you, you have a job that allows you to have flexible hours or you are just by the means in general, then definitely keep them at home but if that is not possible for you then I completely understand having to send your child to nursery. Everyone just needs to do whatever they can to prevent the virus from spreading. This does, however, look different for every single individual. Thank you for your question and I hope you get to see your nephews soon! 💕

We reopened with extremely strict protocols in July and have remained open even when we reentered a state of emergency at Christmas. Schools were closed until two days ago. We wear masks and shields and clean the room frequently. Our rules are stricter if someone in the house is exposed then everyone has to stay home. Two of our rooms have shut temporarily in the past because of exposure though no one else has caught it. Enjoy your lockdown quarantine time together with beautiful Amelia and her furry brothers and sister.

Not all retail is shut. There is nothing in Government guidelines that say you can go out for one hour a day. "You can continue to exercise alone, with one other person or with your household or support bubble. This should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area.You can also leave home if attending the care and exercise of an animal, or veterinary services". There is no time limit in your going out. Plus you can continue to walk your dog when needed.

I think your decision to keep Mia at home is very responsible. If we’ve learned anything from this experience, COVID-19 can mutate and change its behaviour just like any other virus. Things in Australia have been steadily calming down, less and less community transmission, mostly it’s people who have been overseas (who are put in quarantine anyway). We have seen the UK strain, but it doesn’t seem to be a big deal (fingers crossed). Where I live there have been no cases since last year, so hopefully restrictions will continue to ease. Much love to you, Shane, Amelia and your fur babies 💜💜💜

Australia had the same rules during all our tough lockdowns. I never understood the rules Of children going to childcare (nursery) but children were not allowed at school. However if I believe both (or maybe it was just 1) parents were essential workers or the child(ren) were vulnerable there were allowed at school or childcare. As a person who works in a childcare centre it felt and still (When there is covid19 in the community) unsafe to go into work. Especially since children are (no offense) full of germs. Children also don't understand about either social disticting or even hygiene. So I fully understand your worry. Stay Safe!!
