Auntie and I call you that thanks to Jael😀 I disagree with the person who said retirement should be in the village that may have been the case 30 years ago when most people did not own homes in the city. Nowadays people have built homes for themselves on the outskirts Kahawa Sukari Kiserian Rongai Utawala Syokimau etc and for most that is also their retirement home. My opinion is one should retire wherever they want but most importantly one should retire where they have a community or have built a community. Imagine leaving your social networks family and community access to good medical facilities in Kahawa Sukari for example where you own a home to retire in a village you visit once a year that doesnt even have a local dispensary especially when there is no financial reason to do so that doesn't make sense to me.
