Lisa, I stopped getting my nails done after the salon damaged my nails I spent years getting gel but when they took it off they scraped so much of my nail bed I had large dents on them. I cut them really short every week, rubbed olive oil on them pushing back the cuticle which helps them grow. I use all natural shampoos, deodorant, don’t color my hair anymore so stopping the chemicals on my nails wasn’t too hard.

Salon didn’t damage your nails. Anyone who gets gel is damaging their own nails. I did it once and will not do it again. Even silk nails damaged my nail beds.

FWIW, Lisa, wanted to mention that as a subscriber I HIGHLY prefer vids without a filter. One of the reasons I like your vids is that you try to be transparent, authentic, and vulnerable - using a camera filter that blurs imperfections on a beauty channel detracts and distracts from that, IMO. Only you know what’s right for you, just my two cents.
