Leena, please don’t feel dumb when these things happen. You have tons of knowledge about many things and will continue to grow as a person and a mother in knowledge throughout your life. Just accept the advice, tricks, and hacks that people offer. Then sort through them and use them according to your taste and judgment. I remember as a new mom, I couldn’t figure out how to recline my daughter’s stroller and my niece was the one to figure it out! We all have our strengths. That’s why a community is so helpful. It’s not meant to belittle or humiliate you, but to help you . People love to share information. By the way, you look beautiful! You will be a great mom.

I’m so excited for baby girl, I totally understand about being so emotional while pregnant,that happened to me as well, especially after birth the first month was over whelming for me as a first time mom, I felt guilt sometimes for no reason like I wasn’t good enough mother. Everyday you learn something new and you just get these mother instincts. My baby girl is almost five months now and Everyday is still a learning process, don’t let any negativity get to you, just know you will always be doing your best to be the best mom you can be.

that hijab mask hack is amazing!! I work in the hospital laboratory here in Ireland where COVID testing is happening so we are required to wear masks. At the start of each of my shifts I have to run to the bathroom, take off my hijab, wear my mask and then run back to work! This is going to save me so much time! I remember being so emotional when I was pregnant and crying over the smallest thing. Oh hormones lol! My son is 11 months al-hamdulila and I still get comments from family members sometimes that can be hurtful. But remember, you are your baby's world.
