@towels towels I live in a relatively new (less than 10 year old) high rise apartment in a big American city. I’m on the 27th floor. It’s not quite as huge as the place in the video, but I have big floor to ceiling glass along the outside wall in my living room and bedroom. I leave my windows open all the time. The city noise is barely perceptible unless some asshole in a muscle car roars by or an ambulance passes. If I close the windows, I can’t even hear those loud noises. I love my place.

This reminds me of an apartment that I stayed in while travelling once. It was a loft apartment. High ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. It rained one night and there was thunder and ⚡️. I was comfortable inside laying in bed watching a Tom Cruise movie. Mission Impossible. A scene in an opera house with orchestra and opera singers and drums that were thundering like the thunder outside. I had the speakers up loud because the rain outside was heavy & loud. When the drums of the orchestra in the movie sounded. The lightning ⚡️ outside would flash across the sky. I really enjoyed the experience. I filmed it actually on my phone and now & then look at the video of the moment. After the movie I turned off the tv & listened to the rain.Drifting off to sleep. I was going to return to the apartment and city again in the rainy season. However due to covid restrictions and border controls I’ll have to wait. Cool this video. Thanks.
