People can say this is poor living conditions but the people are happier then a lot of people that live in better conditions. For the non Kenyans here, it’s shocking when Joseph says he makes 400 Ksh (2.4US$) and eats in a hotel. The ordinary Kenyan in a slum calls any eatery a hotel. When you walk through these slums you see all their eateries named “hotel”. They can get meals for as low as 50Ksh (0.3 US$)
