gibraltar and bloodhound are both recolors(and corresponding weapons) people are guessing this is because it was originally intended to be a thematic event but then they changed it and added 4 recolors to fill the slots

The re-colours are just lazy & I don’t mind the prestige skin but I’d rather get another heirloom over a skin. I also kinda feel the rift stalker & voidwalker skins are on par with this one & they only cost about $20.

I used to be a collector that buy everything, but I’m done giving them money. They never put our money back into the game. Overwatch2: Buy battle pass for 9.99$ + play the game = customizable mystic skin APEX: pay 160$ to get a mystic skin and recolor skins(no one want) + you need to play APEX to unlock the final product that you paid for.

Pretty dope event. Skins look sick, and it's a holiday thematic event where we normally only get 3 or 4 new legendaries anyway. At least these recolours look better than their OG for most of them. Recolours would be more annoying if it was an actual heirloom event.

I'd say it's because Respawn is working on like 2 other large projects aswell as Apex for the past couple years Or maybe EA isn't funding Respawns Apex team as much so they can't do as much, EA is notoriously greedy afterall, I'd say it's a fair assumption
