Tell Danny to pay $8/month for Netflix instead of spending $60/month on dvds.
@PsyFyFungi
@PsyFyFungi 5 жыл бұрын
that requires buying a device to watch it on (if his phone isnt adequate) and getting a $50-$100+ internet pack, probably a computer, etc. im not disagreeing with you, im just saying start up from zero can be expensive. for me personally, i pay $55 a month for straight talk and my phone was $80, netflix monthly too - barely worth it. computer or computer+tv is the way to go for netflix.
@PsyFyFungi

he also cant watch all of yhe old movies he likes watching so much on netflix, they have a limited selection and take shit off all the time. they are especially lacking on movies. so for movies, no, red box is the best way to go for newer movies and walmart has big $1 older movies

You just finished felony probation I just got on felony probation 4 months ago can you tell me some advice my probation officer seems to be kind of nice but at the same time snaps at me hard to tell if he's in a good mood or not for the most part he lifts me because I don't ever leave the house but the cops harassing me and fabricated the felony that they put on me and they're trying to get a reason to say violated probation even though I don't have to leave the house except for doctor's appointments in wheelchair. Does your probation officer go through your room or house or ever randomly to showed up with two other people to search the house this hasn't happened to me but I was told that it does happen?
@thomasgorman6094
@thomasgorman6094 5 жыл бұрын
ZombieMasterEd25 my best advice is do what your required to do and stay out of trouble bro. And you have to remember those probation officers deal with all sorts of people. There moods can change just like any of ours can. And as to your question about searching your house. I’ve never had that happen to me my probation officer did come to check where I lived and came inside quite a few times. They never searched my house though. Just came to check I was where I said I was residing. Was in an out in about 2 minutes. But the situation could be different depending on the state your in or charges you have.

Man. I just came across this page and Danny himself. His story is just unbelievable, this man spent DECADES in prison. The man is almost 60 and shouldn’t be working as hard as he is. He already served his time and he still manages to smile and I find so much inspiration in him. I never usually donate but I feel like and maybe many others can agree, maybe helping him out financially. Just by donating $1 a month along with others can really help him out. At least take care of his rent. We can’t help everyone but atleast we can help Danny. One at a time. Hopefully Joe can see this and we can be his sponsors.

Danny definitely landed himself in prison for the things he did.. But imagine being lost and forgotten for that long in that violent, depressing setting. Imagine not feeling any love or happiness for decades. Imagine not being cared about and not being treated like a human for decades. Imagine the pain, the fear, the things he's seen. Imagine being locked up alone for 23 hours a day for 10 YEARS in solitary confinement. And then imagine getting released decades later in what you see as a futuristic world you know nothing about. Not having anything or anyone or any knowledge of how it will be. How to adapt. How to get a job with no experience and the record he has. Imagine trying not to be bitter or angry and not being able to make any more mistakes no matter how much you've been through. This man is truly a nice guy. He's soft spoken and smart. He has defeated all odds against him and I genuinely want the best for him. Wow. I hope he truly knows what a strong soul he has.

I love the videos and I don't like to pass judgement but giving$400 to his granddaughter is not the best move. I understand he wants to help his family but his family should be smart enough to know he just did 40 years in prison. He's definitely not in a position to be helping anyone right now it's decisions like that which he might come to regret. Danny I wish you the best please don't feel like you owe people anything, take care of yourself and someday you will be in a better position to help them.

$400.00 for clothes for the grandchild. Um.. I am a single mother of two kids and I have a good job but I aint passing over 400.00 to any of my children so they can go clothes shopping. Hell No, not that much at one time. That's shady that she would even ask or accept that much money from Danny right now. Danny get your savings built, take care of your health, get yourself a car for the winter. $100.00 is enough for your granddaughter to get some clothes at Walmart.

Daisy Lop when my parents were struggling I remember going to a thrift store and garage sales to get clothes and stuff. I was appreciative because I knew they were doing their best they could and not trying to get in debt. Sad that some families take advantage of their own people. It's kind of disgusting to see that, especially when someone is trying to get back on track. 100 would be good maybe 200 at the most. But taking her to a thrift store or goodwill would've of been better. Maybe the only new thing to buy her would be shoes. Just my opinion.

@luttekikker
@luttekikker 5 жыл бұрын
@@KLm912 I saw a program on TV about the SuperMax prisons, the money involved is crazy (amounts of money you would expect with companies like General Motors or something). It also means that if prisons are profitable, they will not change their business model. The fact that 6 months of prison can be 6 years or longer means that once you are in, you are basically screwed if they don't like you and want you inside as long as possible. Now that's pretty scary, they can legally take away you life (even literally, if you hear about his story about the Freight Train that deliberately kills prisoners by snapping necks after standing on it....I did have to rewatch that part because I could not believe it....unless you see the face of Danny that is not laughing at all about it!).

Lutte Kikker yes and if you are unemployed after released, that is actually a felony for which you can end up in prison again. It is so unbelievable the but even the Americans believe it is this way
@luttekikker
@luttekikker 5 жыл бұрын
@@KLm912 How can unemployment after release be a felony? It's not like you know even the company's around after 40 years jail. The USA is great if you have money and a stable life, but if you don't have it....it's very hard I guess to stay on track without falling back into the old life. It's also a vicious circle that actually cost a lot of money in society (burglary/ theft, medical expenses, police....and so on). I wonder if Trump is going to change this system any time. But looking at the prisons it really doesn't matte what President is in charge, this is going on for centuries basically.

I'm sorry to say but it seems like Danny ' s granddaughter asking him for $400 for clothes is out of line. The man needs to get a car for the winter. You can't buy love and you can't become self - sufficient by blowing $400 on clothes for someone else.

Although these things are true unfortunately just stating facts doesn’t fix anything. If we only got what we deserved we wouldn’t get shit. But to help people who may not have been taught proper living skills could go a long way. I worked with parolees for quite a while and a lot of these guys haven’t even learned to make their bed a lot come from broken homes. I’m not saying that they deserve it but if we work on rehabilitation maybe we can save your daughter from being robbed or your son from becoming a car thief

Bruce Nabruise With Cupcakes I agree with you, that's why the recidivism rate is extremely high. Parole can be tough too. My good friend was paroled so i took her to her first parole visit.. Arizona is $65 per month, the area we live in doesn't have a bus system unless you can make it the 15 miles to a bus stop, so the UA system is calling or a computer app that you check every morning to see if it's your "color" if so you need to get to the UA place which is a 45 min drive & used for the entire East Valley, if you don't make it there it's a violation. It's hard for people just paroled to get there if they don't have a car. Sounds like a little thing but it's not, once some people know they have a couple violations for not being able to get to the UA place, combined with poor life skills & stress they say fuck it they're going back to prison so might as well do whatever until they're caught.. Luckily my friend has her shit together & won't go back again, she already has a job & a car plus positive support from friends and family!!
