I love the Netherlands! I been over a number of times including a few football trips. The Dutch fans are amazing They treated us like rock-stars. I didn't get to see much of Rotterdam but we got to eat in that amazing market. That hotel looks so nice. Dutch people really get life. It's nice to see you have fun. especially on your B-fay.

The real Bram Ladage, I only went to the Gouda one as it's the only one I know, make the best fries EVER. Together with some mayo and peanutsauce. You're enjoying perfection :) And to go on with Gouda. You can better go here for an actual stroopwafel, as it's the place it's originated. And you get less of a long line and more for your bucks to. I am not sure if the one in the Markthal is as good as the one in Gouda. But, it's a good advice to go to from your friend. The Markthal is AWESOME!

Most cuisines have certain constraints of how things have to be done and which ingredients are allowed. I feel like Dutch food is much more pragmatic: Whatever tastes good is fine. With their history as a trading superpower they probably are used to having food from all over the world and are not afraid of combining everything.
