One of my all time favorite small coastal towns on the Oregon Coast is Yachats! It’s tiny but everyone is friendly, has a great coffee shop, a little bookstore, and lots of good food. It’s 30 minutes south of Newport where the Oregon Aquarium is, and 10 minutes away from Cape Perpetua which has Thor’s Well. One of my fave spots ever!

I visit Maine every summer with my friends- it might be my favorite place on earth. i would definitely recommend staying sometime. There are so many cute cozy cabins and small towns. it is so gorgeous and everyone is so friendly I genuinely think you would love it!!

i absolutely love maine but i’d recommend going in the summer or fall, it’s so beautiful that time of year and there’s so much to do outside that you can’t really enjoy as much in the winter. the oregon coast/cannon beach would be a perfect cozy winter getaway!

Not normally one to comment but I just wanted to say thank you so much for your videos xx today I saw online that my whole friendship group hosted a Christmas party without me today - I’ve always struggled with friends but thought I’d finally found my people this year only to discover perhaps I hadn’t. I don’t have similar interest with people since I love reading and baking and crafts and everyone else just loves going out late and drinking. Fair to say I’ve had a lot of tears today but being able to sit and watch your vlogs today has made me feel as if I have a warm blanket around me. silent watcher from oregon so I had to comment! If you want a cabin vibe I would recommend Bend or Sisters. It is sort of a city but you can find a cabin on the outskirts very easily. Or if you want something small town and I would go to Jacksonville or Ashland, they are in southern oregon. I hope oregon treats you well!

I’m going to vermont in the new year and it’s so nice and cozy. there’s honestly so many cities where you could get a cabin or even go skiing in killington. id recommend going at the end of january or beginning of february. love you hope this helped!

A tip for your gingerbread houses. My kids are teens now and unfortunately only learned this a few years ago. Melt sugar in a pan(stir constantly until it liquifies). It’s like cement and holds the house together so good. Then you can still pipe icing for decor if you want. Also- as far as a vaca in Oregon…..cannon beach is amazing. Also seaside and Astoria Oregon. I’m from Newport, Oregon. Cute little town on the coast.
