Thanks. I have been so busy lately and family time has to come first and then we went on holiday but I've got loads of stuff filmed so I just need to start editing. I'm hoping to do at least one video every two weeks but I'll try to do one a week. Lots of workshop videos to do 👍🏼

👍👍👍 Check the air filter. It may need cleaning or replacing. If it is blocked, more fuel than is needed gets into the cylinder. This can cause carbon build up.

Thanks I'll check the filter but I changed it last year when I did a service on it and it's had little use since. I've been using the Worx one as well. But I'll check 👍🏼

@@spendtimesavemoneydiy You probably know this, if the machine has been tip to the side the filter is on, fuel can soak into the filter and cause problems. How are you liking the Worx , would you recommend it?

@@Pete.Ty1 I learned that the hard way when I first got the mower. I'd never used a petrol mower before and I bought it second hand so I tipped it over to take the blade off to sharpen it. The Worx mower is great and I even bought one for my father-in-law.

What happened to the Worx lawn mower ?!

I still have it and it's a good job when my petrol one wouldn't start. I tend to use them both but when the grass is long and wet I use the Hayter. I actually have 3 lawn mowers 🤣

So what was the problem? Obviously not the oil level as that would not have prevented it from starting. You have to think that it worked last time but not this time so that eliminates a whole lot of items.

Plug is possibly fouled up simply due to the age of the machine. Eventually wear in the piston rings will allow oil to get plugs.
