His last series "Lazarus Man", which was cut short by his final illness and death was also terrific. It also showcased Mariska Hargitay in one of her few major dramatic roles before. "SVU". She was absolutely magnificent in it and at her most beautiful. Not to mention his work in "Lonesome Dove". Urich was an excellent actor and an all around class act who is still greatly missed.

Spenser was a fine series and Robert Urich was a superb actor. The interplay between him and Hawk (Avery Brooks) was masterful. Perhaps nobody could adequately replace them in these roles. RIP, Robert Urich! You are truly missed.

I missed all of these great shows because I was too busy working, and working overtime! Now that I am disabled--stuck in a hospital bed 85 percent of the time...I am looking for entertainment on KZbin. There is a treasure trove of programs here to watch. I do not own a television, as that is just so old school anymore. I just got a kick out of this scene where Avery Brooks tosses a phone book to actor Robert Urich when their characters need to find someone! The last time I saw a phone book in our town must have been 10 years ago at least--made me laugh. I needed that--I just love these old shows! I find myself smiling while I am watching them. RIP RU! Man you are missed. HE made some great shows!! I love Avery Brooks! Thanks KZbin for making these available. I downloaded VEGAS--how about Spencer for Hire episodes,--for free? Would make my day. @@angelinasouren Thank you for asking. I am okay, God takes good care of me. I have a very wonderful caregiver who comes to my apartment every day. I get to visit with my Dad every Wednesday. WE go to church together every Sabbath--Saturday. I cannot complain. I do not like being disabled, but this is what happened. I accept it. I often use my laptop to advocate for others who are disabled and facing housing challenges. I am a housing advocate! I help all people--I do not discriminate--I have even helped "drug dealers" who came to me promising to stop selling, if I would help them keep their apartments, so that their wife and babies would not be homeless! I agreed. They changed their ways! I got them help with food and other things so that they would no longer sell drugs. IT is what I do. I love people, and care about them very, very, very much. This was one of those movies I watched a few months back as I really started to get into the flow of watching movies again after a long absense. Kind of restored my faith in movies since, maybe because getting older and grumpier, I've got quite fussy about movies. Enjoyed this so much I'm back for a second sitting.
