I am a big fan of Blazinol, but since hearing you talk about this on one episode of CCR, I have been waiting for your video/blog about this. Thank you, I am going to have to pick up a bottle of this and give it a shot.

Nice! It’s a fun developer, hard to get in Canada, but might be easier to get at Hydrofen! Thanks for watching 🥃

@@AlexLuyckxPhoto I think I saw it listed at either Beau Photo or Camera Traders, so I can source it in BC, it just might be special order.

I used it for a couple years when I couldn't find Rodinal locally, as one shot 1+31 dilutions, and doubling times from the 1+15 but I never felt it looked right. I think you got some nice results out of it I still preferred it over Rodinal, and the small bottle makes it very convenient to store.

Interesting on the doubling times! I’ll have to give that a shot and see what I see! Thanks for watching 🍻

Hi Alex. Nice results and video. At this point I use Fomadon R09 for all my Fomapan films (120 and 4x5). At this moment I also use the Fomapan fixer. I really like the Fomadon R09 dev also for my HP5 and FP4 films. I use the R09 as a one shot dev. Does Compard RO9 give the same results, so does it belong to the same family of R09's.

Thanks! So yeah this is where the confusion comes into play! Fomadon R09 is a Rodinal clone. Compard R09 is a modern version of Agfa Studional made by Bellini. So more of a cousin of Rodinal. Thanks for watching 🍻

Interesting! I like your rotary tank setup! I also see you use what I call "poison and smelly fanta" stop solution, I use water myself.

Thanks! It’s called a B’s Processor, simple but works! I’m use water with certain developers, Pyro and Diafine everything else gets Kodak indicator stop bath! Thanks for watching 🍻
