That's badass you caught some trout with the bull bug lure on a popper rig i was wondering if it would result the similarly to live shrimp on the same rig. Seeing they work I really want to make it out there and test out the box you got me but I may have to settle with Bentsen State park so I can keep whatever I can catch hehe good fishing brother! -Santana

When ever you go reds fishing use Mr ballyhoo bite bro that’s money for sure that bait is slaying the salt water 🎣💯🔥

Careful keeping the ones that barely make size , game warden will give you some bs about it . Great video tho brotha. Fish on

Love your videos. Reminds me of when I still lived in Brownsville. Looking to move back soon. What pound test line do you guys use on most your rods for bay/pier fishing? Looking to sell my freshwater gear and start prepping to get saltwater reels.

Thanks for watching brother. I have a 4000 Penn fierce and I usually use 20lb braid. I pretty much use that rod and reel for most of the fishing I do.

@@fishingwithleo Thanks for the info. Maybe I’ll see you out at the pier or jetties once I get back.

Hey Leo I was just joking 😂 about you burning that spot. You can go as many times as you want.
@fishingwithleo Жыл бұрын
Yes I know😂. The places I go to are public so anyone can go. But I am thinking about making a video for gar.

hello buddy here a new subscriber I will be visiting SPI next week and I would like to ask you What set up I need to fish from the Jetty and what species are there this time of the year, also what time would you recommend to fish at the jetty ? Thanks,
@fishingwithleo Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching brother 🙏so right now the season for jacks, mackrels,and tarpon is in so a lot of people are walking to the end of the jetty to catch them. X-rap lure and spoons have been working well. If you are looking to catch fish like trouts and reds or whiting then you probably don't need to walk all the way to the end. Anywhere on the channel side or surf side should be ok to try your luck. The popping cork has been a really good set up for they jetties. As well as the fish finder rig. Live shrimp or mullet is what I like using best but lures work there as well

Like always your mom is the better fisherman or woman than all of you. 😂 You are always going to the same spot every time, you are going to burn that place out for the rest of us 😢
