Hi from Wales. I've seen a few of your videos now and find them very absorbing to watch. I've been playing bluegrass banjo now for about thirty-five years, since I was at school, so for me a lot of it is very basic stuff, however your straight-to-the-point matter-of-fact style makes me want to watch more. I've only started watching youtube banjo videos quite recently, and a lot of people who make them leave me bored, and thinking "Get on with it!" Very refreshing to watch yours. Good stuff!

As a beginner banjo player ( 17 months ), all of the banjo related information found on the internet, seems just a tad bit overwhelming. I agree with John Ditty. Your videos are bringing it all together.

Been trying to learn this for about a month, only 2 measures in to the first one and I still can't grasp it. Very strange how I'm finding this so difficult. It's probably going to take about a year a year and a half for me to get the whole thing!

Another gem of a video. Quick question as i've noticed. Is there a reason you never seem to have a truss rod cover on your banjos? Do you have to keep adjusting it?

My biggest problem is muting the strings while making string notes. Working on relaxing the left hand. I want to play Christian music and tunes. I don't know the bluegrass music.
