Also numbered? The corner being smashed is just stupid packaging, but i was actually thinking that the tear and smears on the numbered page were likely from the calligrapher. It actually sort of adds authenticity to it.

MrStealYoSenpai I ordered from right stuff anime as well, and I placed an order for the first edition numbered print. It took them about a week, or two after the original shipping date to notify me that they'll send me a second edition print. Fortunately, I was able to get both the second edition, and a numbered/signed copy from ebay. It is very fortunate that they even sent you a replacement; that way you'll have a pristine copy, and your damaged one to read.

Dude that sucks. I just searched for other videos and there was another one uploaded today and that copy looked flawless. I hope rightstuf helps you out. I managed to order a second printing, the limited copies isn't anything special to me. I just want to enjoy the contents of the book, can't wait to read it :)

I just received my copy today! Mine also got damaged in the same spot as yours but it's not so bad. I've only read volumes 1-3 but I am highly enjoying the story so much I had to just buy the anniversary edition. I will still be buying the individual novels though because the book is insanely huge and the font is killing my eyes.

I have standard single volumes (all 16 of them) of Spice and Wolf and i am happy (dont need big fat anniversary edition), Spice&Wolf is also very important series to me as it was second one that i start collecting, and its one of four gems of my humble collection with other three been: One Piece, Vinland Saga and Black Lagoon.

I unfortunately couldn't find a website that had the numbered copy in time but was able to pre order the 2nd print . Sucks about the shape yours is in, I have had artbooks end up the same way. For some reason no one knows how to package expensive books. Hopefully this time is the charm.

I know this post is 5 months old now, but the number versions were the first batch of them to get released, as he said in the video only 2000 were made and they were all numbered, however they then later restocked them to sell them to people, this batch wasnt number though

I'm also a little late and not the OP. I think it's best to think of them as separate things. The manga leaves out full volumes and also very generous with the amount of unnecessary fan service. The manga (and art books made by the manga artist) is the only official product that I know of which breaks the nipple barrier too.
