Ironically, I also happen to be an American; who has a Khmer fiancé. We were at at the exact same food stand, got the same salad and ate at the same table 😂. We went to that village during august. We also ordered Khmer noodles there and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for a great review!

the reason why warm water stop the hot spicy in your mouth is. warn water is medicine to cure hot spicy food or just plain cure hot chillis. theyre not suppose to put Sylantro in papaya salad cause it taste weird. here im america we dont put Sylantro here unless some one weird from cambodia buys it

if u want to visit the cleanest beach in cambodia is long beach but it so expensive just stay at a nearest island to it and u can visit the long beach in the afternoon or morning u can rent the boat and go there the beach there is like a 100% sand

The funniest thing in cambodia is that they rate their spicy level based on total number of pepper. Unfortunately they don't know that even if they add 20 or 100 peppers, won't change the spicy level. The only thing that may change the spicy level is by using different types of pepper that is more spicy than the ones they have. Most peppers in cambodia was surprisingly disappointing because as an American, i would expect that cambodia peppers are hot because its asian pepper, but turns out the peppers my cambodian family grew here in America are much hotter than most of the ones in cambodia.

Spicy does not mean it has flavor. A lot of Thai’s don’t enjoy Chinese food because it’s not “flavorful” enough because their definition of flavor is having it extra spicy. Your logic is screwed.
