There was a restaurant back in the day (Koi) that had “rock shrimp” on the menu that was out of this world delicious. Looks like they removed it (or it’s off menu) but I’m glad to see they survived Covid. Highly recommend this joint if it’s still the same owners!

This is GREAT! One variation would be to make SALT & PEPPER (& CILANTRO) fried shrimp, which is IRRESISTABLE unless you don't like cilantro.

Absolutely gorgeous. I wonder whether just baking of sauteeing them would work as well? But I also like dipping over tossing them in it completely, eliminates any sogginess and works just as well.

OMG $24.99 per pound !!! Aussies everywhere are screaming " WTF ". Thank God I live in Sydney average price for " Prawns " twice the size of those is around $19.00 per Kg ( that's 2.2 pounds )

Im sure he could find that for much cheaper, but remember, they happily peeled and deveined that, and it is fresh. It likely came from a quality fishmonger and not some chain that tries to sell frozen as fresh. I can get jumbo shrimp here for 10.99 a pound if I go that route

Very few people buy fresh shrimp- and hes in liberal NY. I pay $8.00/lb for frozen wild caught shrimp. Taste just as good when cooked right.

I remember when I used to have that little dollop of hair that would hang over my forehead. Looking good my man... Oh, to be young again. The bang bang shrimp should be served with dressing on the side to ensure maximum crispiness. But nice work as always.

I guess im out of my mind. I actually dont like siracha. I do not like the flavor. I like sambal olek. I also dont really like mayo based sauce on my fried shrimp. However the fried shrimp with out the sauce looks dope.

I make a chipotle cream sauce using mayo and sour cream, doesn't really taste like mayo but has a great texture as a dipping sauce.
