Though I am not an arborist I really enjoy watching your videos. For some crazy reason I am fascinated with rigging for high and low angle rescue or just for moving heavy loads. I am an old man and I like to hunt for deer and elk in the mountains, so knowing how to utilize ropes and mechanical advantage with pulleys and other gear is almost like understanding how to make magic happen. I wish I'd known all this when I was young! I may even do a bit of tree climbing this year to saddle hunt from the trees. I hope you will continue making these videos. I like them very much.

heres my fastest easiest way for spidering..... beener on end of rigging rope, connected to top of petzl plate, i have 2 premade 10ft. long spider legs with beeners on all 4 ends that connect to the bottom of a medium petzl rigging plate and then the rope gets thrown around the log and then clip the beener to the rope .... !!!! fast and simple.....roy mendo..... thank you for being there for us bartlett team

I dont see the advantage of using extra hardware... The blakes hitch let's you adjust and fine-tune your rigging setup to get the perfect balance. sometimes less is more...
