The villains Peter has fought over the years have evolved alongside him, & some evolved with Miles' powers in thought as well (Rhino). So when compared to when Peter started, the villains now are at their peak. Granted, Peter is also at peak performance, but Peter isn't always going to be there with Miles, so Miles has to deal with the power creep that the villains gained over the years with their power.

I just beat it on easy mode and it wasn't easy. It took me a whole 40 hours. I've never seen anything like this visually, this is among the greatest games of all time. From the history, to the science, to the cultural issues, to the good plain old fun with friends, to the gameplay.... It is truly understandable why this is candidate for game of the Year.
