On vanilla ps5 even quality mode is a bit fuzzy but on ps5 pro even on performance image is clean and high quality.

@@Gotti360 it does not look good enough to justify the price tag especially if your tv has the tech to give you a fps boost. Anything higher than what I'm currently playing and my eyes won't be able to tell the difference. Why would I spend around 900 bucks on a PS5 Pro (including the cost of the stand and disc drive) for minimal results knowing damn well the PS6 might launch in 2026?? A better investment for many would be a TV that will actually support the latest consoles. I bet 90% of gamers don't have a TV with HDMI 2.1 so what is even the point?? What we're getting now with the Pro is simply what was promised in 2020. Easy pass for me. Hope others feel the same way otherwise Sony will keep getting away with these blatant cash grabs. We're better than that. And you can't compare this to what Sony did with the PS4 Pro because after you buy all the necessities with the PS5 Pro it's almost double the cost of what the PS4 Pro was to the OG model.

I found turning VRR to uncapped on Pro fidelity mode and setting the motion blur to 5 was the best for me. All maxed out setting and the motion blur to hide the choppy framerate is a fantastic experience.... Still trying to figure out if BO6 has its enhancements or not, runs WAAAAY better though

When you play it yourself, there is a difference and the main difference to me on the pro was the fighting and all the tendrils ☝️☝️ it seemed more clear when I fought and not a blur felt like a movie. I like my ps5 pro plus the disc drive I put on it was from my ps5 slim. The disc drive can be swapped from slim to pro pretty neat 🤙

I do agree in the fact that you do need to see it in person to really appreciate the new console. Having said that, the differences are not day and night. I think the PS5 Pro is not only for the “hardcore” gamer or enthusiasts but more to the “Sony enthusiasts”. I feel like first party titles are the ones who are really gonna make the most of the new hardware.

The only difference you will see in this game is that you have the proper TV to support it, and you play it for yourself, and not watch a compressed KZbin video. Ideally, you want a tv that can support 4k, 120 Hz, and vrr. Plus, an OLED, if you have the money for it. I do have a TV that supports these features, but it’s not an OLED TV. Is a nanocell TV. I’m curious though, why do people recommend getting an OLED TV for the PS5 Pro? A lot of these TVs have these features, and it’s not just OLED, like LCD or QLED. Would it still look good on an LCD tv, when playing the PS5 Pro?

Yes, I waiting PC version after tested in PS5 this bad. I play in PS5 and PC tested Last of Us 1, the graphics big difference in same 4K TV. I don't want waste money in PS5 Pro, better I buy RTX 5080. And remember PC version will be more graphics upgrade and yeah MOD, I waiting weather MOD in PC

Is it just me, or does 60 frames per second make the game appear strangely fast and distorted? I’ll gladly accept my reliable 30 frames per second with a more cinematic feel and superior graphics.

PC is amazing. As someone who owns both, I think the only place it lacks is the optimization for some games. You're always confident that a game would run just fine on console but PC could be a different situation, even when you have an amazing rig.

@@majestic_settee7 Not all console games are optimized Optimization is a problem for consoles too Not the sony games tho but that's irrelevant Since they run extremely well on both pc and playstation anyway Am talking about games like forspoken and gotham knights and final fantasy They were dropping from 30fps And the resolution was dropping all the way down to 720p to maintain 30fps and it still wasn't getting that They might be fixed now idk Gotham knights is fixed on pc now That's all I know in regards to their Optimization nowadays But yeah Optimization is a problem for both pc and consoles For pc a bit more than consoles definitely

@JuicyEDITS77 Yeah it definitely is more of a developer problem rather than a hardware one. Developers are given Dev kits for consoles, so they can easily optimize their games for the consoles as they know the hardware. But when it comes to PC, developers don't exactly know what your Specs are as everyone have their own custom builds. Still many games released on PC have great optimization like Marvels Spiderman, and have poor ones like Batman Arkham Knight from back in the day, at the end of the day it depends on how the developer optimizes their games. Also I do agree that resolution droping and locked FPS is a big turn off. Especially when it's 30 FPS nowadays. I played games like Gotham Knights, Hellblade 2 and A plague tale requiem on PC just for this reason

What makes me so frustrated and made me decide not to buy it, even though I'm capable of buying it, is the same lie they told us in 2020 about "60 FPS will be the standard," which made me fall for it and buy the console, and that was a colorful lie. Then, a couple of months ago, when I watched the PS5 Pro technical presentation, I kept my expectations low, and when Cerny talked about "fidelity mode graphics and performance mode frames without needing to change them anymore," I still didn't believe it until DF talked about "Hogwarts Legacy still having a 30fps RT mode," which confirmed my suspicion, and there you go... another damned colorful lie. Worst generation of consoles. The 30fps curse and modes will still remain. Looks like I have to wait for PS6 to see if it completely annihilates 30fps and choosing between modes or not. Until then, I'll try to save even more money; maybe I'll invest in a PC.

Just because it's Spider Man 2 doesn't mean it's about it. Nobody is talking about how the game is. This is about the system and how the game looks on PS5 Pro software and how it runs. Quit starting a controversy for the sake of attention.
