Yeah true I was stuck on him for months when I was younger but, I'm currently replaying the game and I beat Kraven my first try for both the fight against him. I was insanely surprised then I beat kingpin after just 2-3 times for the first fight and I beat him in 1 try for the second fight.

Best thing about this game where the amount of villains and boss fights. I've played It so many times, always for the boss battles, It wasn't perfect, but It was cool enough for Spider-Man fans. Kraven, super Lizard and Rhino where probably the hardest. But my favorites where Sandman, Kingpin and Scorpion. PS: It's fun how these games from the Raimi trilogy had a continuity of it's own. In Spider-Man 2 the events of the first game were aknowledged by Shocker and an easter egg of Vulture. On this third one, there is a reference to Mysterio in a Daily Bugle mission and the fact that Spider-Man already knew Kraven goes back to the Xbox version of the game from the first movie which had Kraven as an exclusive boss. Scorpion and Rhino just seem like loose ends, but nothing in this game deny their appearences on the previous ones.

I only wish we got a Black Cat easter egg/reference or something to tie into the previous game. I think it's weird how after the Shocker fight in Spider-Man 2 where Cat helps out she just disappears and is never seen or heard from again, and the Spider-Man 3 game just doesn't acknowledge her. Would have been cool if she showed up to help with one of the 3 gang storylines, she could have fit in fighting against the Arsenic Candy gang or the Dragon Tails since that one was a heist and that's right up Felicia's alley.

I have a very exclusive opinion here. I think this game had the best Spider-Man bosses up to then. You’re basically equal as long as you understand the spider sense, the length is good, it’s easy to understand, and the music is stupendous! My only issue to this day are the lightning quick QTE’s. Only WOS and 2018 got Spider-Man QTE’s correct. Although it’s extremely satisfying to get them right in this game

This game, with all its unpretentiousness and some obsolescence, is perhaps even better than the film itself. If remastered today, I would go through again. Still, whatever one may say, the period from 2007 to 2014 was the golden age of video games, after that everything went downhill.

I love this game it's a masterpiece. Most of the boss fights were hard like Kraven, The Lizard, kingpin and Sandman. The rest were easy. I still enjoyed playing the game They actually did good with the pc playstation 3 & xbox 360 version. The playstation 2, Psp and Wii versions suck.

That’s exactly what I was wondering with Vulture from the cancelled Spider-Man 4 since we fought him in the Spider-Man 1 movie game. And I guess same with Rhino, Mysterio and Shocker who would’ve just been in a montage in Spider-Man 4 but we’ve fought all 3 of them throughout all three games. I also assume Lizard would’ve eventually appeared in the films.
