I mean let's remember that MJ never actually told Peter all of her problems that she was going through the entire movie yet he, as Spider-Man, committed something that was asked for (as Spider-Man, he asked for it, not as Peter), yet, MJ gaslighted him as if he just did it out of spite as a way of cheating on her eventhough it was Spider-Man commiting the act.
