Okay, this was actually really cool. Peter's physiology adapting to the familiarity of Otto's tech, and almost setting himself into the psychic imprint left behind from Otto. Marvel has made a lot of mistakes over the years, but I don't think Superior Spider-Man was one of them. Sure, he's edgy and needlessly condescending. But it was one of the best things to happen with Peter and Otto's antagonistic relationship.

The big problem is it's all undeserving since his "sins" were removed from him and he got everything he ever had back, (relationship with his family, his company, the trust of everyone in his life and Peter's trust too) and he didn't *earn* it. It was given to him and that's why I can't get behind him being good, because he didn't work for it and the life he has now was given to him.

Actually if peter could reprogram the octiods to be more inclined to follow certain moral codes and compass, it might have been one of his greatest companion, maybe upgrade it a little more too, make it intelligent as a human or even more, but still controllable.

You got a point, maybe he will make it look more like a spider than an octopus, a pretty good concept, super intelligent cybernetic limbs that resembles small spiders that links together to make spider appendages, and maybe they could also comunicate to peter directly from the spine to the brain, basically the Jarvis of Tony stark's suits, with the symbiotic relationship of venom (Peter fix and upgrade them, literally like Tony stark, love technology too much. And the arachnotoids or whatever help him physically and mentally, literally functions as multiple voices of reason or action planning)

Well, very late reply, but might as well say this is coming after the Superior Spiderman saga, where from what i know, SPOILERS BTW Otto literally took over Spiderman's body, putting his consciousness in his body while shoving peter down into the depths of his mind and becoming the 'Superior Spider Man'. Long story short, Otto realises that Peter needs to be the real Spiderman to save the person he fell in love with, gave him control back of his body and deleted himself and his memories from Peter. But as the top comment shows, that psychic imprint is still there, it's the reason why Peter feels so familiar with the octoids as he uses them. Why he can use them so easily immediately. And as he uses the gear more and more that Otto as Superior Spiderman used it, he starts shifting back to that old mindset, especially as those octoids were used by Otto himself and are likely unintentionally influencing him back to that mindset that he had using them before Sorry for the rambling, don't know how to cut it down as well but I hope this helps!

I am honestly kinda bummed out Peter didn't reference HOW Superior spiderman was born in the first place. Dude literally did the exact thing he did last time that allowed Otto to do the body swap. I wonder if this is how their gonna bring back superior spiderman? Just have peter slowly develop more and more of otto's tendencies after his interactions with the arms.

Normal Norman is hard to believe. I remember what Bruce Banner has been through over the years and wonder is there more to the curse of Green Goblin, a hidden family story about Goblin powers where his true demons are inside his mind or some where else, a thought is the a family connection between the Banner family and his, Norman family that is? Goblins are supposed to ward off evil in some stories, while that may be partly true. In some cases, it was he totally evil or just someone who wanted power. Osborne rather comes across a bit odd like his in control, but what if it's the Green Goblin who has changed his mental abilities could have trigger a sane mindscap, which is an emotional control over his other self, but within this story we saw there is something different emerging from the Goblinvrse mindscap. Osborne Goblin aka Hoblin Green, Goblin Realms the truth of Osborne family history come from one of the nine realms possibly? Goblin magical powers? Spiderman development is possibly that his more powerful than was he started out with why is this well it could be his destiny was predicted by Madam Webb years ago as a consequence of his fate which was due to his parents fate and uncle to, the power of three, three people who meant a great deal to Peter as role models and some spiritual in his destiny his destiny was made more important when he was biten by a spider with radiation of which we haven't real been told much about if it was just radiation that changed him into Spiderman alone on a infinite path to his powers as guardian of the spidervesrs/multiverse one of many different versions of Peter Parkers hero role the Spiderman universe. The abilities of Spiderman is so unpredictable, and his control of his powers on molecular level and in his past this power has been odd at times to really scary things, and it's possible theres still something to come? After all technically his a mutant he wasn't born with this power, but its possible sometimes it could be some from another source his family history, and further back in centuries ago, spider cults, and mystical based history? Madam Webb source material stories could be a future story her original story where she came from the original Spider Woman wasn't there a Conan story with a Witch who had the ability to turn into a giant spider and when as a human had Spiderman like abilities and possibly travel throughout worm holes of magical origins and forsee things much similar to Webbs?

I hate how pete never take responsibility for his power ups, everytime he gets a boost or power up he always wanna blame it on the object (venom, the arms) the writers need to fix that cause it just makes pete irresponsible like a child when in reality hes the problem and thats the loop in spiderman, he can never stay true to himself and with a companion. I really hope superior ock or ultimate Spidey returns in the ultimate comics, or at least spiderverse miles develop into comics to continue his story and adventures.

Him not using corrupting power ups is him taking responsibility. The objects do physically and psychologically change him. Peter knowing not to rely on them is him being true to his morals.

​@@nakga2player27 big difference there buddy, Venom is forcing himself on Peter when Peter dislikes or hates VENOM while with the instance of Flash Thompson is a different case. Flash loves spider man so does Venom, making him as understanding and caring as Eddie Brook was to Venom but the foundation of said companionship be a lot different than the disdain Eddie and Venom had together. Plus, Venom communicated horribly with Peter giving him one of the most awful impressions in symbiotic relationships to begin with You also need to remember that Venom had partnered with Deadpool during the events of Battle World back in the first multiversal crisis Marvel had on Secret Wars. There is no way Peter can accept having Venom fuse with him as he could end up killing without wanting to kill because Venom sees that killing is the only way.
