What’s smart is that although we now know it was glitching. We saw it before meeting the other Spider people, so as an audience, we can assume it was just a radioactive reaction rather than a multiverse thing, and once we learn about the glitching, the audience forgets about the Spider because it was a once time thing and we haven’t seen it since.

The thing of Peter sensing Miles’ aura being green and purple in the first movie is a reference to The Prowler’s colors in the comics being green and purple. It’s symbolizing that before he met Peter he was on his way to becoming The Prowler

I like this idea. I know Aaron Davis' Prowler had a super scary design in the first movie, but the Prowler is usually more of a thief and not necessarily a super villain. And if Miles 42 is the Prowler in a universe ruled by the Sinister Six then he's probably a Robin Hood-type figure, robbing the rich and giving to the poor. The Donald Glover version of Davis in the MCU helps Spidey because of his nephew (Miles) living in the area. Plus, the original Prowler, Hobie Brown, was redeemed. He only appears in this film as Spider Punk, and his Prowler roots aren't acknowledged. But I want everyone to note Hobie says he is the one who brought in the live action Donald Glover (an interesting detail since he doesn't seem like a person who'd be super keen on putting other people in jail). So what is Glover doing there? Is it just a funny cameo or is he a plant? Thanks for listening to my Pro-Prowler Propaganda.

I don't think Prowler Miles is evil. Our Miles spider sense would have went off before he got knocked out. Only a few Venom symbiotes can sneak up on anyone with spider sense with the intent to harm. I'm guessing Prowler is this NY hero, like badman.

Spidey Sense isn't triggered by evil. Its triggered whenever it senses a threat. The Spidey Sense doesn't see Prowler Miles as a threat because of its bond with 1610 Miles. Prowler Miles hitting Miles doesn't trigger the Spidey Sense because the Spidey Sense doesn't respond to self harm. It doesn't recognize Prowler Miles as another person but as himself.

I think that he was driven to criminal acts after his father died in this world. So he probably is villainous since he didn't get the spider bite, but I think Eric is right on the second part. 1610 Miles will become like a brother to 42 Miles and steer him back on the right track and become a hero. Prowler Miles will also end up helping him out against the Spot and Miguel in the end.

I'd say a misguided vigilante who feels he's doing the right thing but uses overly brutal and violent methods. A bit like Anarky from Batman or the Punisher. If this is the case, then alternate Miles actually parallels Miguel in that they are both well-intentioned extremists.

I think the Earth 42 Aaron and Miles are against the Cartel and when our Miles shows up they instinctively think he's with the Cartel and against them, so that's why they have the reaction they do. Earth 42 Aaron is helping Miles mom out and Miles is in school (or at least was) so it makes sense that they aren't totally bad. And of course Aaron meets Miles up top where Miles dads memorial is and he was a cop. I agree, I don't think they are bad.. or at least totally bad

I find the change in color scheme interesting. Maybe I'm thinking too much, but during Marvel's early years, their main colorist, Stan Goldberg (Stan G.) decided that heroes would always be in primary colors, while villains would be in secondary colors -- thus the predominance of greens and purple on Marvel bad guys.

Alternate Miles might not want anything with Miles. Miles was explaining everything to his uncle believing that we might help to prevent a lost. But Alternate Miles seems to be a jealous type to Miles nor he feels sympathetic towards Miles' life at all.

One of the best things about the Spiderverse movies is that none of the villains are purely evil. They're all just trying to live their lives and to their best and the writing makes it so you understand and sympathize with their twisted POV.

Well, that sure was a deep dive! Loved the idea with Rio's words being a hint at Miles from Earth 42. My only disagreement with you - the prowler and Arron from Earth-42 should be anti-heroes. They should work with the spider team to take down the upcoming sinister 6, but they need to be a side plot, a semi-huge mission, to the ultimate goal of stopping Spot from killing Jeff. The ultimate message coming from these movies so far is that a hero story doesn't need the same elements every single time to still make a fantastic hero. You can change the story, you can have both ideals. The plot doesn't need to be so strict, so messed up. There are still consequences, but they may not be terrible. So we'll just have to wait and see! Also, I think the last movie is coming so soon because these animators tried to end the movie this time, but the runtime ended up being 5 some hours. Anyone think differently?

No, because I don’t think the machine Spidey 2099 uses reads the person’s entire DNA. I think it just reads where the DNA of their spider powers originated from. Thats just my guess. So Miles is glitching because he’s not from that universe despite his SPIDER being from there.

I think it’s because the go home machine requires that Miles’ dna was altered by something that originated from earth-42. I thought it was reading the spiders dna but that doesn’t make sense, because the machine wasn’t really intended to send spidermen home.

remember in both Pavitr and Miguel's universe, when he used his electric absorbing ability, he no longer seemed to have been glitching until he changed universes? What if its revealed that due to miles being an anomaly and a unique being cuz of his origin spider and him not being off the same universe, he has the ability to alter and stabilize his atoms to suit the universe hes currently in without the requirement of the gauntlet to keep him from glitching. There are theories of Miles having a live action version showing up or smth. So what if he learns this ability in the next movie? The Gauntlet keeps the user's atoms from glitching meanwhile Miles ability modifies his atoms and syncs it to match the universe hes currently inside.

Loki ended up in a different timeline which was explained as a different universe. I honestly think that this could hopefully be leading up to the a big bang where everything collides because it seems no matter what anyone does it keeps messing with timelines/universes.

@@dwashtr Ok so the TVA just makes sure that the events of the "sacred timeline" happen as He Who Remains wants them to transpire so if something happens that He Who Remains didn't plan out they go and fix it. Since Tobey and Andrew did not get taken by the TVA it's assumed that series of events was supposed to happen. Same applies to Miles, they didn't come for him when the spider bit him so its assumed that was all part of Kang's plan as well.

In the comics Jeff recently changed his name to Morales. He gave Miles his mom’s name because he and Uncle Aaron were infamous criminals and he wanted Miles to have a fresh start

Miles didn't feel appreciated and acceptions from his parents forgotten him and never make any friends but excluded them out putting his friendship days behind him making him incapable of such betrayal after he was kidnapped inside the balcony of Aaron's instead of the cartel while he encountered his darker counterpart as the prowler forces him to not let his heroic counterpart go possibly he wants his counterpart to suffer the same pain he went through

The green and purple spider sense and hue in earth 42 is a reference to the original Prowler costume which was purple and green.

One detail that I noticed was the colors, 42 is matrix green while 1610 is Zion blue. Showing that 42 isn’t what it seemed. Also when 2099 arrives in 1610 there is a red sign and gree street. In 42 there is a red street and green sky. Showing something is reversed

Prowler is never really evil he is more just a thief with cool tech. Sometimes he is a hitman or assasin or thief for hire. But he is never a real super villain. I think if we keep the base Prowler in a universe ruled by evil he could be a robin hood type figure instead. Miles prowler is more of a mix of normal prowler and robin hood.

Have you guys also noticed that when Miles Prowler (E42) enters the room, Mile's (OG) Spideysense doesnt detect him. It further supports the idea that Prowler Miles can be a Good Person.

I just realized that After reading all the comment and reply. How did 42 Spider ended up 1610? You would need Collider to Travel Illegally to other Spiderverse. Which mean, it either could be Spot (as shown in the trailer showing spot growing spot in spot shoulder) Or Someone who Visited earth 42 and accidentally messing up the 2 E1610 and E42 causing the Nueva York Base to Ban miles to ever going there. It's clear that someone has gone through E42.

@@Polymerata The spot (before he got the spots) used King Pin's collider to transport the spider. Remember the earthquakes that were happening before Miles got bitten? Yeah, that was the Spot using the collider.
