I really think that in the hands of a veteran player that knows all of the other characters pretty well spiders ability could be awesome. In the tournaments that you lads run I think he might be awesome to use as a counter pick character more then a character you just choose.

No feints could hurt him, but his ability breaks one of the main mechanics in the game in the hands of a player that knows all decks well. He will have some tough matchups, but he will be a great counter to some players too. Time will tell, but it wouldn't surprise me if he gets canceled out most of the time in competitive (depending on the format of course).

I have a doubt: if "Right in the face!" is played against a card that allows the opposing player to blind boost, can it draw the card to boost with?

Blind Boosting is NOT drawing so it will still work

Son of a boxer is only adjacent. Also it doesn't have to deal the damage to the attacker just any adjacent opposing fighter

This feels like it was meant to be a pretty basic and straightforward character. Perhaps not a lot of complexity for all the new players drawn to the character 🤷🏻‍♂️

Several months in, it is clear the guy needs higher block values and feints. He wouldn't be broken with feints, nor would it be terriible for the game if such an iconic hero was medusa good. Not the time to go all conservative.

His ability is absolutely crazy, but the deck itself is pretty...default? So it either his ability carries him, or he'll be pretty mediocre - practice will show. The only think I dont like is that his kinda-mechanic is guessing with wat opponent attacks him and block with suitable card - and this whole idea is immidiatly thrown out of the window by his ability. Yeah it makes his deck more consistent, but overall gameplay more boring for me The only think

...why did you say to play Web Shooters if they play a 5? Unless it has some crazy effect, that would be the same thing as playing a blank 3, it's completely useless...
