Tinkerer is a oldschool Spider-Man character he has been in spider-man homecoming Also Harlem is in Manhattan which is in the first game as a American citizen you should know that it's just basic knowledge Also just because Peter died in Miles origin in the ultimate Spider-Man comics and the into the spider verse movie doesn't mean he actually has to die in every adaptation of the character in the Classic Spider-Man comics Peter actually mentors him and he is actually alive this is also the case in other Spider-Man adaptations as well Man

To be fair, the Spider-man/ Peter Parker that mentors Miles in the comic is from the main continuity (616), while Miles is still the same one from Marvel's Ultimate Universe (1610). Miles was bought into the main Marvel universe in the comics through a multi-dimensional event, while Into the Spiderverse does it in reverse, and brings everyone into Miles universe. Insomniac's "Marvel's Spiderman" universe seems to do away with all of that and simply just keeps Peter around... For now. I'm starting to think that they de-aged him with the newer model in Spider-man Remastered (PS5) so that they can introduce an older Peter from another dimension if something happens to him... Keeping the tradition of Peter dying in the end. I can't wait to see where this series goes. I've never been more excited for a November to come in my life. PS5 already pre-ordered.

My only exposure to Tinkerer is from _Spider-Man: Homecoming_ although he wasn't menacing there, so this might be a cool interpretation. Also whenever people said it sounded like Yuri, I thought they meant Yuri Lowenthal (VA of Sasuke Uchiha, and Peter Parker in the 2018 game) and I was so confused lmao.

My theory is that the reason the Roxxon Energy Corporation and the Tinkerer are going to war is because Roxxon is a competitor of Oscorp and Norman Osborn hires the Tinkerer to steal technology from them which could be used to make a prototype goblin glider teasing the Green Goblin in Peter Parker's next game as well as try to force Miles' mum to be an Osborn politician since he was mayor in the first game. Also, Yuri Watanabe becomes a supervillain named the Wraith in the comics, we saw a more comic accurate version of the Tinkerer in Spider-Man: Homecoming, he was the fat guy who built weapons for the Vulture

They used to. Not anymore, though. The MCU does not do this type of set pieces. Or at least not as good as Sam Raimi or even Marc Webb. Say what you will about those versions of Spidey, but their set pieces were incredible!

@@train123z This is just my opinion, but since the MCU makes Spider-Man movies, his action scenes became more generic. I agree that Far From Home has better ones than Homecoming, but even those are kind of boring (again, my opinion). Call me crazy, but in the Raimi films the camera followed Spidey in a more dynamic way, and every punch and every time he dodged something felt more visceral. It was really exciting. It felt dangerous, like every Dock Ock or Green Goblin hit hurt him. And the editing was FAR (and I mean FAR) better in those movies. In the new ones the editing is designed to never feel visceral, everything is more dietetic. I never felt the stakes were that high, because is always just a cartoon fighting a bigger cartoon. And I know the old ones also used CGI (specially Spider-Man 3), but it was never just that, and in the MCU it always is, even in Civil War, that has probably the Best superhero action of the MCU so far, I never felt anyone was in danger. I could talk about this all day, but I don't want to turn this comment into a bigger rant than it already is. I don't hate Homecoming or Far From Home, or even the MCU, but I miss when filmakers with a strong vision used to make this movies, and that's why I am more excited right now for movies like The Batman or Wonder Woman 1984. Even if they do not turn out great, I know I'll see a director's input in every shot and cut, and that makes me happy. Have a nice day, everyone!
