The guys who do this are always amazing. I used to kinda wonder why actual retro games didn't at least have cutscenes like this, but I'm just now realizing they wouldn't even have the space for something that seems this simple. It's deceptively complicated.

I love that the face of the sand version of sandman looks like John Romero, that feels so natural for the 8-bit era. Like, "What do we do about Sandman's face?" "Just use the head character designer's face, they won't notice."

I wasn't much of a fan of the movie, but this gave me a whole another feeling towards it, just like video games based on movies used to (especially on a SNES emulator). Thanks John, Mr Scumbag Movies and mates (except Maso) for putting this together, it was really awesome.

wonderful design choices :D The only thing I might have added, would have been a one-second flashback, when Andrew-Peter is holding MJ... it would've been nice to suddenly see him holding Gwen's body in the clocktower. Just for a split second, before fasding back to MJ at the statue of liberty. Other than that *chef's kiss*. Brilliant work!
