If Andrew Garfield ever gets to the point, I’d love to see him direct a Spider-Man movie. He understands the character so well.

nah direceting is a very different skill and andrew probably doesnt want to. but yes he is the greatest actor out of the 3 spider-men, and all 3 area already phenomenal

Sad thing is, he probably understands the character better than anyone working on current MCU Spider-Man projects.

My favourite takeaway from this interview is that Andrew and Emma are still really close even after they broke up. I love that!

Tick, Tick... Boom! really changed my life. Andrew became one of my favorite actors in 2 hours. That movie blew me away, from the music, to the performances. It covered a lot of things in my life right now. Andrew is incredible.

i can just sit for hours and listen to andrew speak on spider-man. the way he expresses and narrates is so profound so beautiful. and if you are reading this andrew you are my favourite peter and i love you for the empathetic, kind and beautiful human that you are

38:38 also it wasn't this interviewer. It was the regular guy from BBC radio interviews. The one we all love. When avengers Infinity war was fixing to release he was interviewing Tom Holland and Benedict Cumberbatch. One of the smartest questions I've ever heard an interviewer ask to actors who are supposed to be keeping high secrets was: how was it like filming your death scenes?? You can't say oh yeah I filmed my death scene and it was hard. But you can't say either I didn't film a death scene I don't think I die. That answer would be taken as you don't die and someone else does. Smartest question ever

It's always a pleasure to watch Andrew Garfield's interviews, especially when you have a host that asks the right questions! This was such a lovely interview, Andrew's ability to dig deeper into his feelings to answer each question with so much respect and thoughtfulness is the reason why I could hear him speak for hours about his career and his passions.

Such a great interview. My facial expression was exactly the same as Josh's while watching this. I'm so much grateful for Andrew's Spider-Fan since he announced becoming Spider-Man in 2010. Last year was one of the darkest in my life but tick, tick... BOOM! and NWH saved my all-darn failure. Something good will happen if you keep going. I really appreciate all the people who are involved. Thank you so much.

Josh, I don't know if you read this but thank you so much for this interview. I really needed this. Andrew always so at ease with you. Thank you for your amazing questions it was really everything I wanted to know. Andrew gave the best answers. He has so much love for spiderman and that's so touching. Andrew's Amazing Spiderman movies was really important to me growing up. I was a shy kid and felt so seen and understood seeing those movies. What Marc Webb and Emma and Andrew created was so magical and moving and I just can't explain how important those movies are for me. Andrew if you ever read this thank you for changing my life ❤
