Wouldn't have worked, the whole reason for the spell at the end was that more people from outside that universe who knew peter parker were coming in, making people within that universe forget what mysterio said wouldn't stop those, the spell had to just make EVERYONE forget that this peter parker even existed so that they wouldn't come in for him. I liked an explanation that I read somewhere. When Tobey stepped in and stopped Tom from stabbing Goblin, it calmed Tom down but if that was reason that Tom spared Goblin, it wouldn't have been earned. It still wouldn't be his own decision. When Tobey gets stabbed, Tom get angry again but this time he choses to help Norman rather than kill Goblin despite what he just did and therefore making it undeniably clear that Tom learned the lesson and made the character progress.

I think the reason why Ned can use the sling ring is pretty simple. Strange, when he started, was an arrogant and egoistic learner even after accepting the fact that magic exists and that too even after a very long time after being taken in by the Ancient One. Strange, who had spent his entire life "watching the world through a keyhole" as Ancient One put it, had a very hard time adjusting and accepting the realism of the mystic arts. Also since the sling ring was the first ever lesson in Mystic Arts we shouldn't go deeper into its origins and rather just look at the user. Ned, believed in magic. And that is the main difference why Strange and Ned are different. Ned from the very beginning knew that magic existed and was also rather eager to learn it. Strange, who was distracted by his shaking hands and was desperately trying to rush through the lessons to fix them made it more difficult for him to learn magic. Since Ned didn't have any such distraction, Ned was more quicker in learning the skill of the Sling Ring. But he couldn't learn how to close a portal because he didn't yet have a teacher.
@avikchakraborty55362 жыл бұрын
I guess? But I dunno about that Even if does make sense, i think I just don't like the route they took with this ned can do magic thing It just makes dr strange less unique and takes away some of his presence It would b really humiliating to see a teenager do something in seconds what u learnt through months of training

@@cngotham4111 She was impressed with how quickly he learned once his skepticism about magic and about his hands being the problem gave way. The reason she trapped him on mount everest was to make him have a leap of faith, "surrender to the current", give up his own self imposed version of control, his own self imposed way of thinking and order of things that all revolved around him. To make him realize, it wasn't his hands, it wasn't that magic doesn't make sense, it's that he needs to open himself up to things bigger than himself and that there are things bigger than himself. Ned had no such superiority complex, he's open to so many things being different than how he thought they ought to be, open to so many things being different than how they are, hell, he's best friends with Spiderman, at that point, everyone would be open to seeing what crazy seemingly impossible thing would come next that the world could throw at them from left field. Once Strange got over his ego problem being that things weren't as his mindset thought them to be, it was smooth sailing, because of his ego of all things. I will say that it's not completely out of the blue that Ned was able to make a portal when Doctor Strange took a while to. Remember that Strange was the slowest in his training at Kamer Taj because his hands were not functioning and the connection between his mind, body, and magic hadn't been made yet. He was still skeptical and was thinking more about fixing himself than dedicating himself to magic. Ned does mention the magic in his family, but also remember that he accidentally made the beginnings of a portal, it was only when he put his mind to it that he was able to make a full portal and even then, he couldn't figure out how to close it. It was him, in that moment, fully dedicating himself and fully believing that he could do this to help his best friend, both of which Strange did not.

Actually, Electro does know Peter’s name but not his face. In Amazing Spider-man 2, Electro traps Spider-man and Gwen drives to hit Electro. He got knocked out. Spider-man tells her to hide, but Gwen is mad and yells his name. That moment when Electro wakes up after he hears Peter's name.

I had spectrum when it was the only provider in an area I lived in. They are the worst ISP to exist in terms of coverage and customer service

I can't imagine how a former surgeon/ sorcerer couldn't freaking explain to a teenager that a very meticulous and complicated spell shouldn't be interrupted before they even did it. that shit confused me. dr strange be like "you want everyone to forget you? okay, coming right up" it's more difficult to order at McDonald's than ask for a world changing spell?

Come to think of it. Tobey's spider sense didn't kick in when he was stabbed now did it.

He definitely held back on this one. As much as I enjoyed the movie there was a lot, and I mean A LOT of things that flat out did not make sense. I think he knew if he went hard the MCU fanbase is gonna get on his throat. This got me thinking, people really talk a lot about the writing in TASM 2 but what do you guys think about the writing in this movie ? 🤷♂️
