For the first time in Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. Actually... That Blue Lightning guy in the trailer is in fact TASM's Electro! 😄 His Lightning probably got upgraded to Yellow. Doc Oct got an Upgrade too! His Tentacles got Tony Stark's Nanite Technology.

Yeah my theory is that shot that we see him blue is when he first arrives as it looks like he is manifesting. Then maybe when we next see him go against Spider-Man he is yellow. They may have a story reason for it or they may not who knows.
