Andrew hit it out of the park in this film, his reaction when he saves MJ, it really got me! I wish that it was possible to get Andrew in the suit for one last time so that his arc comes to its conclusion, but if not this is a fitting tribute to his version of Spider-man. This as a Spider-man film is 10/10 for me!

I didn’t tear up until his friends found him on the roof and sat and cried with him for a few seconds then seeing Tobey and Andrew be so calm and sympathetic towards him seeing a younger version of themselves endure the same pain they had both already been through. A scene that gave me the biggest trauma was that fight between Green Goblin and Spider-Man in the apartment. It was so horrific and dark that it made me cry. As a teen, I actually got scared so bad. This movie really took me back to the moments when I first watched Spider-Man 1 final battle back in 2010. That scene defined how powerful Willem Dafoe's acting is, he is a actual god when it comes to these roles, as for Andrew Garfield, I am glad his character got redemption and also ups his character arc. I love how he interacts with the other cast in the movie which is just a *chef's kiss* and then the ending of No Way Home really made me think of Tom Holland to be my #1 Spider-Man, he ain't Iron-Boy Jr anymore. HE IS THE SPIDER-MAN. All the sacrifices he made has been really hard and we can actually feel the pain like his close ones forgetting him, losing Aunt May and Tony- like come on, even his new suit at the end is just giving the ultimate spider-man vibes AND I AM GLAD TOM NOW HAS ANOTHER TRILOGY IN THE MAKING WHICH IS JUST SPECTACULAR. CANT WAIT TO LOOK FORWARD IN THE FUTURE

Growing up Tobey was my Spider-Man he was childhood hero. I’m now a father a little Spider-Man fanatic who has grew up on Toms Spider-Man. When I purchased the tickets I also purchased Spider-Man costumes for me and my son and gave them to him the night before the movie. That night I could sleep emotionally I wasn’t ready for this. The most emotional moment for me was seeing my son fixated on the screen with a smile ear to ear and him squeezing my hand looking to me and telling me “Look dad! Look! Look at our Spider-Mans dad!” Then him stand on his seat throwing his mask on and yelling at the screen “GO BOYS GOOO!” 🥺😭. Thank you Stan lee for everything. For this moment alone. You helped give a father and his son create a forever core memory that I’ll never forget.

@@deenicholas9601 This made me smile my friend. What a time to be alive to we’re you can bond over something like this with your boys. This may be a little understated moment in the film, but when Andrew's Peter Parker says he's always wanted brothers hit me emotionally. It made me realize Peter in all incarnations has no siblings and is destined to be orphaned and alone. The Peter Parkers in this film became a band of brothers.

I have seen a lot of death scenes but something about Aunt May's hurts the most. Because in a way it is Peter Parker's doing, he's standing there in the middle of the wreckage he feels he created and then his Aunt dies... and the killer did it for *no other reason* than to prove that morality is a weakness, *the same morality that got him to try and save the villains in the first place* .... How does someone get over this? That level of guilt is insurmountable and multiplies the grief 10 fold. I can't even image the level of pain he was feeling when he was sitting there with her in her last moments.

I cried when Aunt May died. Tom and Marisa's acting in that scene was perfect The scene on the rooftop when Tobey brought up Uncle Ben and Garfield brought up Gwen and how their deaths affected them was emotional. Peter saying goodbye to MJ and Ned was heartbreaking too. Especially when he sees the bandage on her head and he realizes they'd be safer if they weren't in his life. I'm still thinking about how triumphant and sad the ending. It was cool seeing him make a new suit and swing around NYC. But he doesn't have anyone. Aunt May died. MJ, Ned, Happy and none of the Avengers know who he is either. I really can't wait to see where he'll go from here

Omg 😱 the feels! When the Spidey trinity got together and got to work. I absolutely loved it! It's a reminder that Spidey is not who he is because of that spider, but because of his morals and intelligence. Tobey Maguire was really great as the wiseman who was giving both Andrew and Tom Holland advice and comforting them. Andrew was amazing and saving MCU's MJ and his face tearing up was just perfect. Also, the first time they meet Tom Holland and TH is all crying and resigning himself to a bleak worldview, and they all open up to the point that TH says the classic phrase "with great power, comes great responsibility" and they echo it. That was also perfect. They all realize then that's what connects them. That's their origin story and that as bad as life gets, it is what forges them into Spiderman. I don't think that people from other universes forgetting who he is. Only those in his universe. There's definitely going to be more crossovers and the spiderverse is going to continue. Peter became who he had to become. He makes the sacrifices he has for the people he loves because that's who Spiderman is. 💕 😢

I think aunt mays usage of the "great power" quote is the best we've ever seen it be done. it hits so much harder bc may actually knows that Peter is spider man and knows all that he's capable of, whereas the previous uncle ben's had no clue. while it is super emotional, it was also low-key kind of hype. reminds me of when rocky's wife gives him the "win" talk in the hospital in the rocky movies hahaha

I was Blow away. I haven't felt like this in a mcu movie since Infinity War. Peter truly became Spider-Man! Peter so far in the MCU been Spider-Kid in Home Coming he was his trying to prove himself as a hero. In Far from home he finally understand the consequences of being a hero and just wanted to be a kid. In this Peter gave up his happiness to keep others safe. That the heart and spirit of Spider-Man!

I think that you got it spot on with your selection, I had to hold back the tears on so many occasions during this film, I thought that Aunt May's death was bad enough, but then we had Andrew saving MJ which hit me hard and Tom making his personal sacrifice by giving up MJ and Ned... well that did it for me! I did see it on an IMAX screen in London with a big audience so that was great reactions at all the key points, as someone who used to read Marvel re-prints of Spider-man as a kid in a British comic called TV21, this was a 10 out of 10 as a Spider-man movie, in fact it ranks very favourably with MCU films in general. There were so many great performances in the film and I think credit should be given to Tom for the range that he demonstrated throughout and being able to carry the film as the leading character more so than he has in his previous Spider-man films.

I must admit, the nerd populi at large were really on top of this. The minute they saw MJ falling from the Statue of Liberty, it was immediately speculated that Garfield would rescue her. Truthfully, the nerds were on this movie hard. They got everything right. I loved it. Seeing Matt Murdock the night after it’s revealed the Vincent D’Onofrio is playing Wilson Fisk in the Hawkeye finale shows amazing love for our Netflix Marvel characters. Now we just need Berenthal as the Punisher. In terms of action set pieces, the film is kind of bland. Visually, there is absolutely nothing new here but it’s the story that shines. Is it fan service? OH MY GOD, YES! But when did giving people what they want become a bad thing? This movie was a great salute to all Spider-Men and a great send off and explanation for why we have to watch so many Spider-Man films. They’re all real somewhere. This is certainly the greatest crossover event since Infinity War, maybe even bigger when you think of the time involved. Of course, next year we have Michael Keaton’s Batman meeting the Flash. WTF?

This isn’t the end for Tom Hollands Peter Parker. Isn’t he confirmed for another trilogy? They said a soft reboot is happening but it’s still with him as Spider-Man and a continuation to this movie. It’s a soft reboot because of his existence being erased from everyone but the story still continues. I hope to make a Spider Man Noir Trilogy that will secretly have Tom Holland crossover into The Noir Universe

@@MamasGeeky Yeah I got the whole Plot memorized. Timothee Chalamet plays the Noir Spider Man and The it's set from 1969 to 1979 cause Of some reasons of have for that change The last one is a A Spider Verse movie and at the End Credits of the second film a hooded figure looks at the a newspapers with the Noir Spider Man on it and he turns around takes off the hood and reveals to be Tom Holland. And He says "Where are You" and walks off as the it cuts to black. Plus Mindhunter is one of the Inspirations in the movies especially the 3rd movie and Both Peters kind of act like Walter and Jesse from Breaking Bad With the Arguing LOL

I’m surprised that the moment we thought Green Goblin killed the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man didn’t make the list. People were yelling “Kill him!” after that.

Hey don't get me wrong, but this movie reminded me so much of first three seasons of The Flash (which by the way is still the best seasons of flash). That whole May talking to Peter while she was dying reminded me strongly of season 1 finale of Flash where Nora talking to Barry while she was dying. Then Peter decided to cast a spell to erase everybody's knowledge of his identity without consulting his friends which again reminds me of season 2 finale of flash where he decided to do Flashpoint without consulting others (in both cases is some what selfish). When Peter met MJ at end after the final spell and not introducing him to her still reminded me of first episode of season 3 of flash, where Barry met iris in that Flashpoint time in a very similar settings and bought a coffee. Green Goblin killing May to hurt Peter reminded me of Zoom killing Barry's father just to hurt him. And the appearance of other spidey villains because of multiverse collapsing reminded me of season 2 of flash where zoom came to earth 1 and then brought other flash villains from his earth because of season 1 finale where multiverse was collapsing. Ned opening the portal, who by the way is best friend of Peter. He reminds me of Cisco who has powers to open portals and he is also the best friend of Barry. There so many similarities, like how Tobey and Andrew discuss about their love life and Andrew saying that Guys like them never getting the girl they love, which again reminds me of Oliver and Barry discussing about their love life and Oliver saying same above statement in season 1 of flash. After all these reference between Spiderman NWH and first three seasons of The Flash, I think Dc made a great decision by connecting tv shows, previous movies and current movies by Erza Mille's Flash appearing in Crisis event. Now, they technically established the multiverse even before MCU did. Since, The Flash series is cannon in wider DCEU multiverse. So, when they do The Flash movie other people may not remind WB of following Multiverse like MCU, since those who know about above facts will remind them of Erza Miller cameo in Crisis even before multiverse was introduced in MCU.

What about Ned finding out that every spidey best friend dies or became villain?

That was great! I kind of include that in with the whole lab scene. I mean, in all honesty, I could have said the whole movie! It was HARD to narrow down.

Can you please tell me whether or not the movie some kind of rushed? Was it just like a villain after villain and very chaotic? Or were they able to flesh it out and actually explain what was going on in each scene? I’m worried that it’s going to be packed with so many different plot points that it’s just not gonna flow very nicely
@MamasGeeky3 жыл бұрын
I felt like the pacing was great! It moved along quickly enough so there was no down time, but also gave each moment enough time to be fleshed out.
@jonocoates31633 жыл бұрын
I felt like it was a bit like infinity war where they get the ball rolling fast and it doesnt stop until the movie is over but i loved that because it didn’t feel slow and since they had less characters to manage compared to infinity war, they could flesh out everyone a little bit more
