Honestly, the fact that Marvel refuses to let Spider-Man be happy and have his two girlfriends for more than one comic before the whole relationship gets sold to a demon to save Aunt May for the 90'th time is the reason I stopped reading the newer books altogether. Next to Peter, Shocker has to be the unluckiest SOB in the Marvel universe. He gets beaten to a pulp by Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, (to add insult to injury Luke Cage rips the Thunderbolts badge off of his costume) he’s practically the “punching bag” of the Sinister Six ( - 1) in Superior Foes of Spider Man, the long term effects of using his costume is giving him CTE (punch drunk syndrome) and him getting beaten with bat by MJ and the Black Cat is mayonnaise on the crap sandwich. The only thing close to a break Shocker would get is if Songbird gives his Thunderbolts badge to Diamondback, and Diamondback applying liberal amounts of sanitizer to get Shocker’s stench of bad juju off which would be lol gold
