Well it piggybacks off the original story. So things were already going bad to the point that Spider-Man went to see Reed Richards where he decides to give up the symbiote in the classic storyline but in this what if twist it explores the idea that if Spider-Man decided to say no I'm going to keep the venom.

@@RealQuickComics odd that w Peter the symbiote was more parasite it used his body while his mind slept etc. Yet w Eddie it was bonded true symbiosis the combination greater then the sum of its parts individually. Like 1+1=5. Why couldn't Peter had bonded peaceful? As the symbiote was young to the world it did find substitute for brain eating by chocolate binges. Is it the fact the symbiote an Eddie shared true hatred for Peter that bonded them further beyond peters abilities? Seriously Peter wasn't as powerful as black Spiderman as Eddie is w the symbiote imo. As venom is so obvious deadly to him. Yet the real big difference we had w the black Spiderman suit was he didn't need web cartridges an had a nice suit that could switch identities vs costumes. The symbiote was new to the earth so it might not talked to Peter at first. It scared an already superhero Peter. Vs a man that wanted revenge against a super hero aka Eddie Brock.

So basically there's a device that Peter finds in the Baxter building that was made for the thing to be able to mask his identity and comes up with the idea to switch places with Johnny Storm. @@emiami458

I feel that. It's difficult to explain without writing a book but the tldr version is rule of law, right to a trial, a hero needs to follow the law or he's an antihero

@@RealQuickComics thanks for taking the time and explaining it man i appreciate it. I sort of understand but it feels like just by being vigilantes they're already beyond the "follow the law" step, and i understand murder is a far heavier crime than the others but by not killing some of these criminals these heroes are indirectly causing death, and you'd be right to say the heroes are not at fault for this, but if they're able to look away from these indirect deaths (even if they feel angry or frustrated as long as theyre not taking steps itd effectively be the same as looking away from them) that they are causing why are they even bothering to break laws and be a vigilante in the first place? isnt the spirit of it to do what the law cant or wont to protect civilians from evildoers?

Under repeated offenses maybe but, if it’s the 1st or 2nd time you’ve caught a guy you hope that the jail holds them tbh. If you’re SUPPOSED to be in jail for 80 years for your crimes and you’re already 20-30, if not older, you’re basically dead anyway but, they break out to make more comics. If they die they gotta make new characters.
