I feel like people really undersell Aqaman's submarine feat because its in the water. The fact he pushed it up from very deep in the water to the surface really quickly is very very impressive because there would be hundreds of metric tons of resistance from the water on top of the sub not accounting for the sub's own weight and how its a more long ship so the resistance would be even greater. Also I feel like Peter getting grabbed by Thanos isn't as impressive as a direct punch from Bloodlusted superman. He only got grabbed not punched by Thanos. Anyways its good to see Danco being as realistic as possible with this matchup.

Agreed. This is an interesting match which seems close at first glance. I don't see Spidey tanking a grenade launcher or Aquaman dodging bullets. But I think Arthurs's toughness, trident, not being a literal child, and skill (he's the only one formally trained here since we're talking movie versions only) cuts through Parkers webs and agility. Also, Cap got out of that webbing ok, and even used it against him, so I don't see that being a huge problem for Aquaman, being stronger and all. Aquaman stomps handily

The strength gap and durability gap between the two actually *is* pretty big. Spiderman can lift 25 tons with normal effort and can lift around 50 tons when he pushes himself. He *has* exceeded that level on rare occasions, such as lifting the concrete Vulture dropped on him, but that required his absolute maximum effort and he was only able to maintain that level for a very few minutes at most. Aquaman, on the other hand, is listed in the 100 ton category. He could have lifted that same concrete trap with much less effort. The same with durability. Bullets and blades can't penetrate Aquaman's skin. Both can easily penetrate Spiderman's skin (if they hit him). It may be a lot harder to hit Spidey, but it is a LOT easier to hurt him if you do hit him. So Arthur actually has a huge advantage in both strength and durability over Peter. Parker IS a lot stronger and a lot tougher than peop,e give him credit for and Spidey is one of my favorite characters because of just how strong and surprisingly tough he is, but he still isn't close to Arthur in either category. Spiderman has fought - and even beaten - plenty of characters that were stronger and more durable. His fight with Thanos is a good example. Yeah, he landed some good shots on Thanos and Thanos had a hard time hitting him...at first. But once Thanos DID get ahold of Peter, there was nothing Petey could do to get out of it or avoid the damage. Yes, Pete survived the attack, but Arthur took several shots from Steppenwolf, who is on par (or close to it), with Thanos and kept coming back for more. I do agree Spiderman will give Aquaman a better fight than people might expect, but Arthur will still win in the end.

Spidey might be able to web hold him, but AM is far too strong to get web blitzed fast enough. The web has shown many lesser holding feats, that AM's submarine feat alone should be more than enough to casually toss layers of the web off. If Spidey had prep and knew how to handle the fight, than he stands a chance to execute the measures he needs to win. But in a more random encounter, Spidey makes a mistake before he can effectively take a W.

@@cory6640 You forget the submarine feat was in water where AM is strongest so that's not gonna fly since Spidey won't fight him in the ocean, also he's got hydrokinesis so he used that+his strength to push the sub. AM also can't just break webbing like that since leverage is important. He can't fly nor is he close to superman nor wonder woman to make leverage pointless. Spidey can cover him rapidly in webbing easily, he has many many webbing types he can use, and is strong enough to hurt Aquaman plus is faster and has spidersense. As for removing the trident? Classic Spidey move. Web his face and while he's tearing it off rip the trident out of his hand. Aquaman would be caught off guard by that and wouldn't grip it hard enough to stop him.

Aquaman can compete with Steppenwolf, who can easily react to Wonder Woman. Aquaman's reaction speed is comparable at worst. Spidey does have his senses, which is enough to really help him utilize his speed, but it's not like Spidey is going to blitz Aquaman. Spiderman is also in no way strong enough to muscle the trident from Aquaman's hand, no clue why we have to assume Aquaman is holding it like a wet bar of soap. Spider-Man vs Aquaman might be a better debate after Spidey's next film, as Spidey is notably improving with each movie. But for now, he lacks the feats to utilize his advantages to take a majority.

MCU's Spiderman's speed varies yes he's dodged all of Mestyrios drones using only his spider sense though in battle he's been tagged on multiple occasions either it was Cap or anyone else so he can be tagged, Aquaman should be faster than most opponents that Spiderman has fought he should have comparable speed to Wonder Woman for instance who is a casual bullet timer, steeling Aquaman's trident wouldn't do much he's still physically stronger than Peter and he's more durable so how would Spiderman get passed his durability as well?

I agree with most of your analysis but I really think you’re under selling the webbing . You yourself started to bring up a way for him to use it. Namely webbing the Trident so Aquaman can’t use it. Some web gernades and lines and suddenly Arthur is empty handed fighting spider-man whom as you have stated can dance circles around him. Eventually Aquaman will be worn down and webbed to the floor.

I totally agree with you clayton. Dan is selling out Spiderman short. Hello Spiderman disarmed Captain America from his Shield. He hit & hurt Antman in his giant form wrapped up his legs and brought him down. Was able to stun & stagger Thanos in battle. Thanos is a Hulk level strength. Aquaman is not. Superman hit him once knocking him back . Peter is gonna be pounding on him multiple times from all angles with spider strength and webbing him too. Spidey sense helps avoid hits + the types of webbing he has. Explosive & tazzing webs. Aquaman is done overwhelmed with Spiderman attacks. Definitely possible.

His nano stuff won’t do shit because iron mans suit is built different. You forget that Iron Man’s suit is about brute force, Spider-Man’s is customer to agility and stealth, it was the reason why he never made Thanos bleed himself because his suit can’t achieve that level of power, it’s about how you construct the suit and what else you put in it, nano tech wasn’t the only reason, he had to make something out of it that would do SOME damage (a little cut) to someone like Thanos. So you can’t use other people’s feats when Spider-Man was never able to make Thanos bleed besides hitting multiple times and then getting caught easily. Whereas Aquaman has the Poseidon Trident which is made out of nth metal which is both stronger and more powerful than the likes of vibranium as it also has an extreme magical affect on not just the trident but the loyal owner. Essentially it turns Aquaman into a god and his trident can pierce just about anything.
