In this video, we're investigating unused voice lines in the first cutscene of Spider-Man: Web of Shadows.
After the words of MJ, Wolverine, Black Cat and Fisk, the voices of Electro, Vulture and Spidey are heard. In the original we don't hear them, as the cutscene ends before they speak, but if you play all the lines from the beginning of the cutscene, they fit and play in that order.

When are we making a petition? Because this game needs a remastered version already and the time keeps passing. Smh guess this will go with the rest of the forgotten treasures.

I think all old Spiderman Games need to be Remastered under one single Spiderverse Title. Only thing needed is Support to an Ideology. Either I can define it and ask for support, or someone else do it and we all stand in suppport. In both cases, one needs support in giving it a direction and increase the reach of it while working on a story to sew them all together in one cloth.

It's going to be remastered u know the same idea on Marvel spider man 2 symbotie suit vs venom ofc they are using web of shadows concept so wait on fall 2023 enjoy this update and i am sure insomanic will bring every symbotie suit including with web of shadows one as u know since insomanic is always makes movie suits let's just gonna be enjoy this

@@MDzstation567it wont be exactly like web of shadows because insomniacs marvel spider man 2 is doing its own thing so things like switching from the black suit to red suit wont be in game like how it is here but thats okay!

Its very nice that Electro's tragedy got into Spidey guts, but the Vulture one was anti-climatic.

I KNEW IT! I knew that Electro dialogue wasn't a figment of my imagination when I played the game back in 2008 (or 2009). It's as if I had played an earlier version of the game or something. Now, the cutscene ends after Kingpin's dialogue.

Idk why, but the Electro line it's so fitting Also, I've always tought that Black Cat's line suggests that the bad ending is the true one

The game added more to Electro’s character. Spider-Man’s villains always had a soft spot in my heart. Especially when there are times in the comics you see the more human side to their villainy. Like Rhino, Sandman, even Doc Ock. Though after Superior, I could never forgive him for what he did to Peter.

Стабильно прохожу эту игру раз в год. Никогда не надоедает. Все реплики из интро наизусть помнил даже когда английского не знал. Часто в вижу в Паркере, мир которого разрушается на его глазах себя. Если бы Shaba Games дали больше времени на разработку, то это была бы лучшая игра про Человека-Паука. Очень приятно что игру до сих пор помнят и находят в ней подобные мелочи. А фразу Электро как по мне можно было оставить, уж очень актёр над ней постарался (если я не ошибаюсь, он ещё озвучивал Гаару в английском дубляже Наруто)

Зачёт. Не думал, что тут столько реплик было изначально. Парочку моментов отдельно подмечу: 1) Я понял зачем разрабы решили начать проигрывать реплики только перед первым выстрелом паутины. До этого действия огромный кусок Лунной Сонаты позволит нам проникнуться атмосферой разрухи, что творится в городе. Если переносить данный вариант катсцены в релиз, Соната перебивается местами репликами персов. Проникнуться атмосферой можно и так, но эффект, по крайней мере для меня, уже не был бы таким. В общем 50 на 50. 2) Реплика Фиска просто идеально подходит моменту (я же говорил, аргументы в пользу как расставить голоса персов сильны для каждого варианта). Паук буквально падает вниз здания, а ведь оно принадлежит Фиску. В катсцене где мы просим его о помощи Щ.И.Т.У. он прямо говорит, что большую часть заслуг заберёт себе. В лоре игры он официальный представитель города - мэр. Это символизирует, что в случае победы заслуги Паука почти никто не вспомнит. Скорее наоборот, его будут винить отчасти во всём случившимся. А это имеет смысл, Чёрная Вдова как минимум говорит в релизе, что это мы притащили симбиота на Землю, так что виноваты тоже. 3) Блин, эта реплика Кошки... Серьёзно, лучше бы в игре, при некоторых выборах и выхода на те или иные руты прохождения, босс файта с её симбиот версией не было. Это был бы первый "босс", который на самом деле драться с нами не хочет. Кошка подходила к сломлению Питера с психологической стороны. Как вариант - она бы стала нпс напарником по механике, который постоянно будет рядом с нами. Однако она почти никак вмешиваться не будет, дразня Питера тем, что все его усилия напрасны и не имеют смысла. Что либо легче сдаться, либо же самому взять ситуацию в руки и стать "Королём города". Тем самым еще до Тумза на высотке Эмпаир-Стейта игра соблазняла нас на злые концовки. 4) Второй повтор реплики Питера мне кажется не то, что лишним, скорее его стоило изменить авторам. Например более грубой озвучкой, показывая что Питер не за что не сдастся, и если придётся, то будет готов пройти через любого, кто станет на его пути. Будь в игре рут, при котором Питер станет вовсе убивать ради победы над Веномом - точно подошло бы.

Очень интересный разбор! Да, повторение реплики Питера кажется немного странным. Мне, как и всем остальным, очень нравится, как поставлена сцена, как движения паука, "Лунная соната" и голоса сливаются в общий ритм, как в оригинальной версии, так и, скажем, в более ранней. На днях сделаю про ещё одну кат-сцену. И кстати, только сегодня я смог посмотреть, как выглядит город после концовки (хорошей) - солнечная погода (как в первом и втором акте), на зданиях все ещё была симбиотическая слизь и при этом ездили машины. Но при всём при этом, это был просто взгляд с высоты на город без самого паука, от первого лица, можно было только камерой крутить и ничего больше.

@@star.cruz123 I can. "Well done! I didn't think there's so many replicas. I'll note something separately: 1) I got why developers started to play lines just before the first web-launch. We can go into the atmosphere of destruction in the city until that moment. If that variant would be in release, Sonata will be just on the background and lines will be the foreground. We can feel the atmosphere but not so much, at least for me. 50\50 in general. 2) Fisk's line just perfectly fits the moment (I told you, arguments on what order lines must be put are strong for every variant). Spider-Man literally falling to the bottom of building which belongs to Fisk. In cutscene where we ask him for help to S.H.I.E.L.D. he plays straight that he sill take most of the merits to himself. In that gane he is mayor. It means that in case of victory Spidey's merits will not be remembered. On the opposite, he will be to blame in all what happened. It makes sense because Black Widow at least says in release that We leaded symbiote to Earth so we are to blame too. 3) Damn, that Black Cat's line... Seriously , it would be better if after some choices and ways of walkthrough there would be no fight with venomised version of her. It would be the first "boss" which doesn't want to fight us. Cat was breaking Peter psychologically. As one of the ways - she would become our npc ally who's always with us. But she will almost not be part of what heppening by pickin on Peter that all his efforts are nothing and they don't make any sense, that it will be easier either to surrender or to take all the situation to his hands and become "The King of the city". Moreover game was tempting us to chosse the evil engings before Toomes on the Empire State. 4) Second time of Peter's line, I think, is not really odd, it's something developers had better to change. For example by the tougher voice acting - that means: Peter will not give up no way, if he must - he ready to go through the anyone who stands in his way. If there would be way in which Peter will start to kill for victory over Venom - it would fit perfectly."

So they just delayed the voice lines and have them end by the end of the cutscene. 😂 Also, I hate that the game doesn't have subtitles in the opening cutscene cuz I couldn't understand some words like "gutting" thought Wolverine said "getting" but it didn't make sense as also he was pronouncing it differently than "getting" but like "gotting" but I've had no idea, so yeah.
