Spike in applications to own guns

Violent crime remains a worrying issue in the country. This has led to many South Africans choosing to legally arm themselves. There's also concern about the proliferation of illegal firearms. During Operation Shanela, police have confiscated nearly 800 firearms. Criminologist Dr Guy Lamb says there are more than 100,000 firearm licence applications each year.

If you get Dedicated Status you can get a firearm under 21 from 16-18 if not younger on with some Shooting clubs, like Natshoot.

I am a God fearing man, but I will never be without my firearm, because God protects his peacemakers. He qualifies those who are protectors. Violence is not the answer, until its the only option left, and I can guarantee that the Lord will forgive me for defending my family.
