The feed ramp on a lot of barrels need a good polish also.

No feed ramps on this one. It has a cone.

@@drconkle1 The cone is what I was referring to, depending on it's shape some need a polish on the bottom. if it has a little dish to it, and it's big enough you are good to go.

That larue trigger is fantastic in my 11.5" 556 but I think in my ar9 I'm going with a dedicated pcc trigger
@MrThespian4 Жыл бұрын
For ejection issues you have to "tune" the ejector pin it needs to touch (not drag) the bolt , and be square, as well as riding in the groove nice, and close. Most have to be bent up and left.

I'm using a 5.4oz buffer in my Spike's build with a regular mil buffer tube and spring with about $3.75 in quarter's in the tube and right out first time out, ZERO malfunctions.

One ended up being the trigger as the problem

Bro, great video. Also having ejection issues with my spikes tactical bcg/receiver set. Just wanted to say you sound like Seth Rogan, lol. My kids are watching Kung Fu Panda while I am watching this vid and got your voice mixed up with the character Mantis. You could be a voice double for him fer real.

I've had multiple Spikes Ar 15's and always liked them. I got an AR9 spikes lower LRBHO and it has been horrible. It's causing bad feeding issues. I already tried all kinds of buffers and springs. Now it's either down to the LRBHO or the barrel cone. Debating just getting rid of it and starting over.

Use a trigger made specifically for 9mm carbines or a milspec trigger. Next time buy a Foxtrot Mike unless you like to throw money out the window for brand names.

I have around 30 different triggers across all my ARs Including the FM-9 trigger. I like to build unique and different things and have a challenge.
