I don't disagree that Labour will be worse, or at least continue on the destructive path the Tories put us on, but that's on the Tories, frankly. They had one of the best voter mandates in recent history and did nothing with it. They just saw the mandate, thought oh that's nice, and sat on their hands and took it for granted. In some cases they actively prevented some Tory MP's from trying to do what the voters wanted. The people who are going to pay for that is, well, all of us. We need a viable third option, because two party politics is disastrous when those two parties align on the same damaging policies.

Zionism is believing that Jews should have a homeland. If you don't believe in that concept, then yes, it can be argued this is anti-Semitism.

I like Graeme and he is doing so much on this issue, but for a lot of us he is a Johnny come lately. There is no time for reprimand though, only welcome. Whilst I agree that women are most affected by this issue I am sadded that men and more importantly boys are being forgotten in the discourse.

He may well be but for the last 4+ years he has been fighting hard. I agree that it's unfortunate to only look through the lens of negative effects on women but the platforming of discussions on the issue in general will get us there

The extra few % tax working people will pay under Labour will be the difference between being able to help your children out or not. So the parties are NOT the same.

2 state solution will never happen. One state with equal citizenship for all who have direct familial connections to that land, is the only realistic solution imo, obviously a truth and reconciliation comission equivalent needs to happen early on too.

The result of this election is a foregone conclusion, and we all know it's going to be mediocre at best, most likely worse. What really matters is what happens 4 years from now Labour are on the back foot, the Tories are scrambling to rebuild themselves and win their supporters back, and most importantly, for the first time in my living memory, there will (hopefully) be a right wing alternative party with a genuine chance of beating the Tories.

I didn't think Sunak being rained on was a big deal, I think it would looked worse if someone held an umbrella over him. It reminds of McClaren against Croatia for qualifying for Euro 2008. Wally with the brolly.

I also didn't think it was a big deal. The music in the background was though as it spoke to how ineffective the government has been. The clown should have.been dealt with before Sunaks speech started

You are all failing to acknowledge the elephant in the room - OUR SYSTEM OF DEMOCRACY IS IRREVOCABLY BROKEN - we need complete reform of all government - hopefully a single party system guided the peoples vote on all issues.
