DMC is the coolest game series to me, both style *and* substance included in one package, having some of the most in-depth gameplay around, presented with full swagger if it weren't for the troubled development of DMC 4 and the completely uncalled for reboot in the amateur turd of a game dMc, this franchise could've been so much more the above 2 misshappenings really took the wind out of the game's sails, you could say they almost sank the ship even, such a fucking shame

No contexts DMC 4's combat is alot better and more complex than DMC's we could only use an specific moveset given to us with the weapons and upgrades, but in DMC4 with the switchable styles is when the SWORDTRICKSWORDTRICKGUNTRICKGUNTRICKSWORDROYALGUARDSWORDGUNSWORDGUN era began

DMC3 is a masterpiece but I think in terms of gameplay DMC 4 is the most funny to play and overall as a Vergil fanboy I prefer DMC 5 as is Vergil contracting Vergil's son and Vergil's brother to hunt down Vergil so Vergil could fuse with Vergil so Vergil could be Vergil again
