@@samanthamione9901 im saying there are a lot of people in college like this. i believe that they get through because their parents are connected to the schools, the high schools they attend are amazing and focused on getting kids into schools, or their parents spend CASH on outside resources to make sure their fees stay high. i've met several college students without a lick of common sense.

Joelle t. Of course so many people travel from all over to go to Stony Brook, I’m just stating that it’s clear her parents claims are false, you can see that this poor girl did not get in on her own especially watching her KZbin channel, she sounds very uneducated despite her circumstances which also tells me that she had no interest in attending a university. I’m simply stating that her parents ‘not guilty plea’ gets thrown out the window just by watching these KZbin videos that she has made among other things. This proves that her parents were 100% responsible for this scam and it also shows that Olivia must have known. If she were invested in her college career she would have been at the frontier of her grades and SAT scores

“What do you get at Olive Garden?” -- Yep, she’s never eaten there or “Chipotle, Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A ...” And that was her first In-n-Out meal. Why do people find her life interesting? If she was from a different country and experiencing life as a typical American teen/college age gal, that might be interesting. Or maybe if she was from a very low income and was experiencing eating out or using a washing machine for the first time, THAT might be interesting. But being a rich kid whose privileged lips have never tasted fast food or food from a chain restaurant is not interesting. It just makes her look snooty.

Victory Road she isn’t a kid though, she’s an adult and has had plenty of time to reflect on her upbringing and change or at least acknowledge her privilege. I agree with what your saying but it’s hard to feel sorry for her or at the very least understand where she’s coming from, she was so flippant about college when for hundreds of kids that was their dream school. @@victoryroad5264 if she is 100 percent a product of her environment as you say, then this backlash should result in her thinking about her life and her choices for a little bit. Because exactly, now she's not surrounded by that "clout". People aren't meaninglessly praising her as she's used to. They're criticising her for the first time. Maybe she'll actually hear something different from what she's used to and wonder whether or not it has any meaning. look im not gonna act like im poor, never eat out, never splurge on clothes ect. im definitely in the middle class range but this girl is still SO unrelatable. i could be dirt poor or the richest person in the world but theres no way i could get out of doing basic chores and just LEARNING about stuff around me lmao, my parents would never.

like i get it, she's spoiled but it isn't our right to mock her for it, she was raised that way and it's just her parents' way of raising a child. she doesn't know the harsh struggles of our everyday lives like not having anything to wear or worrying about money or colleges or jobs. y'all think she has everything just because she has money when really she's just the poorest one here

@alongforthememories5 жыл бұрын
@@afearfuljeffrey9478 I mean it's sad but this kinda thing happens literally all the time in just life in general? Some people in life will always be born with the upper hand and the only reason people are even talking about just Olivia still is bc she was famous and put her life on youtube. There are probably thousands of other kids who have parents that did illegal/sus shit to try to get them into colleges/internships/jobs/schools and took away chances from people who really needed it

Here's my take on the answers to your questions: Why is she acting broke? Answer: 1. She's a rich-ass kid. How often would rich kids get run down just because of the life they live? The life that they want to live, they want to enjoy. Try to recall all those memories you had in middle school. The memories of beating someone down just for their happiness. 2. She wants to connect with her friends and her subscribers. It's not often you see a millionaire's child. Imagine how often she has felt outcasted. Disconnected with her friends. Comparing the typical citizen life with her's, you'd say different, right? Yes, that is the answer. Next, Why do you think she's keeping a budget? Answer: Even if she's under a safe roof, she has to learn independence. That's why she's keeping a budget. In case anything in goes wrong, she'll know where she'll go to. Now, I don't wanna sound like an angry mom or a teacher, but these type of videos NEED to be put a stop. These are the type of videos that still promote bullying. I'm Anna Akana, thank you for listening to my ~shitty~ TEDtalk.

0:45 what’s that she’s using? Not the washing machine.

I think it’s her phone and her using her credit card to pay for the machine. I paused it and It looked like a calculator but then I saw the iphone camera 😂

marlee june yea thanks. I found the original video and it turns out that she’s just taking out some kind of Key Card from her phone cover to access the washing machine because she’s in a college dorm. When I first saw this clip, I thought she had some fancy ass gadget to control the stuff in her house 😂
