Where I fish for catfish, fresh-frozen shad guts are readily available in a jar you buy at a bait store, they've already done the hard part and they are hands-down the best channel catfish bait I know of, especially in moving water. But I never see youtubers fishing with them, instead they like kool-aid chicken. Maybe I'm doing this all wrong, I'll have to give it a try. Thanks as always for the entertainment, take care out there.

If you all take a log or some bigger tree limbs and smash it/them into the mud there at the water's edge , you can stand on it and it makes landing fish easier and keeps your shoes cleaner.......and keeps you from swimming too. There, that's all I know about bank fishing.

@kylegresham21443 жыл бұрын
@@fishinncrapoutdoors4651 ive had the most luck on cherry! Tried adding garlic once and that didnt do much if not made it worse. I just cut the chicken into bait sized pieces, put them in a bag, put the cherry koolaid in, then a tiny bit of water, and i like to refrigerate it and let it soak a day or two. If you freeze it it still works but the chicken will pull apart easier.
