Loved these guys and they still sound amazing. Many of my friends never got my attraction to the band because I was a metal kid but SD had the riffs and melodies like Zeppelin imo. Spid Docs like Zeppelin took me on that musical journey. My friends were pidgeon wholed anyway I consider myself a music enthusiast I could listen to anything. Really think these guys have another great record in them. Get on it boys! And Eric definitely one of the most underrated guitarists of not just the 90s but of all time. His playing didn't have to be overpowering although I'm sure he could shred with the best of them. The groove sometimes carries more weight. Can't say enough about Spin Doctors. Really great band.....

Eric, Mark and Aaron killing it, per usual, but the real surprise treat for me here is Chris' vocals! It sounds like he's been studying Middle Eastern Maqam, microtonal singing and ornamentation, and crushing it. Fantastic control, expression and intonation!

But I have to tell YOU that when I saw the Spin Doctors play in a PARKING LOT in Eugene, Oregon, I was blown away by your guitar performance. Mark White is one of the best bassist in the world. I mean how do you get better? Likewise Eric Schenkman virtuoso axe man. Phenomenal band all around. Saw them in Tampa, Florida in summer of ‘93 with Screaming Trees and Soul Asylum. One fantastic show that was.

I think Aaron was using a Brady kit at the time and I think I see a glimpse of a tube lug there, so it might actually be the same snare? A 5,5x14 Jarrah wood snare.
